An antique wine glass of lead composition. This drinking glass has a drawn trumpet bowl and a stem with a trapped tear. The bowl has diamond point engraving with the names Harlord Wright and Frances Chat, followed by the Latin saying flammae felices quas mutuus exitat ardor. Loosely translated, this means How fortunate are those for whom the flames of love burn without change, a charming sentiment for what is a marriage or anniversary glass. English George I period pepper caster by important Huguenot silversmith John Chartier, London, 1723. Britannia standard (95.8% pure silver). Hallmarked to underside of base. Size: 4 1/2 inches Ht. X 2 1/4 inches diameter. Condition: dent to one side.

A finely detailed ornate mesh purse with handle. Made of 800 silver with a floral design around the clasp. The interior contains a unique mesh coin purse. One of the enlarged photos shows a small area under the clasp missing a hoop which we can easily repair if so desired. We can also polish the purse free of charge.

Very rare, dating circa 1820, American cut lead crystal wash basin and water pitcher set. Possibly by Bakewell Glass of Pittsburgh, the set is in excellent condition. The bowl measures 7.5" high x 16.25 diameter. The pitcher measures 12.5 inches high. Both in excellent condition.

Lovely early Victorian angel skin coral ring with 10 carved florets and one large carved coral flower at the center, set in a pleasing symmetrical pattern. This ring has a 9K gold band while the coral florets are set in a metal bed. The Victorians loved angel skin coral, which is a red-orange or light pink colored coral, and they especially loved coral cut into cameos, flowers, or fruit. This ring has a rather large head and is therefore best worn alone. This ring is a US size 7.75.

An Oude Loosdrecht plate with a modest bouquet of hand painted flowers in the center of the well, sprigs of flowers here and there, a molded lip with the molding picked out in blue and a gilt edge. Marked on the bottom with the initials M.O.L. with a star and incised with a star, letters and numbers. 9 ¾ inches (24.8 cm) diameter.

Condition: the most serious damage is a visible chip on the rim. There is also a tiny one below the rim...

5218-21: English, Bilston, late 18th century, patch box these memento boxes were popular at the end of the eighteenth century and frequently given as tokens of friendship and love. Usually oval in shape, but also circular and rectangular, there decoration reflected the popular styles of the day. For example, by the 1790s Neoclassical style swags, doves, hearts, and borders were the most commonly used decoration of the day. This box reads "Unity is the bond of society."

This elegant brush has repousse decorations depicting Art Nouveau lilies on the top, and fancy swirls on the handle. It measures 5-3/4” x 3". It is stamped Sterling, and there are other, illegible, marks. There is a little bit of damage to the silver at the top of the brush, which is exaggerated by the photos. The handle has an undecorated area on each side, ready to be monogrammed, should you want one. On one side this area has some small dings to it...

A superb double series opaque twist 5 ring Lynn glass with a 4 ply gauze surrounded by a lace tape. Conical foot with rough pontil. Supposedly, this has a minute foot chip, but I have not been able to find it, despite very careful examination.
