A Royal Nippon hand painted white green & gold floral jardiniere plant pot from the 1880s. This beauty measures 8-5/8" across the handles and it stands 4-3/8" tall on its four feet. The decoration includes white flowers with a bit of orange blush on a few petals, pale green ground and a medium green band under the flowers. It is lushly decorated with applied gold and it has lots of beading. The bowl itself if lobed and the handles are forked at the top...

A very well modeled porcelain teacup with a delicate loop handle hand painted with a red bodied bird perched on a branch in a fanciful landscape with a fence in the background. Hand painted puce flowers on either side of the handle and in the bottom of the cup. Unmarked but the porcelain and the bird décor are characteristically Ansbach circa 1780. 4 inches (10 cm) across the handle, 3 ¼ inches (8 cm) diameter, 2 inches (5 cm) height.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs...

A wonderful idyllic scene of a girl gathering flowers in a hat. Near her is a lake with cows watering, while in the immediate background is another group of cows and a young girl. The far background has trees and a house. The charming naïve style, and the inclusion so many items of interest combine to make this work an exceptional piece.

An amazing matching pair of a male and a female glazed pottery attendants from the Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

This type & size is very rare and were made as tomb figures for wealthy and prominent people during the Ming Dynaasty.

We believe this porcelain box was produced in France at the Sevres factory in the late 1700s. It is unmarked. The quality of the painting and the workmanship of the doré bronze rim have led us to this conclusion. The box measures 3 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches deep. It is hand painted with panels of colorful exotic birds in fine detail. It is elaborately gilded. The painting is on the top of the box, the sides and the bottom...

DESCRIPTION: An antique American woven oak splint basket with twisted vine handle in elongated form for flower or herb gathering. You can never have too many great, old baskets! CONDITION: Good with minor age-appropriate wear, stains or losses. DIMENSIONS: 12" high x 21" wide.

A large copper lustre jug / pitcher, both sides transfer printed with Charity as a mother with children, having pity on yet another child. Sunderland, England c 1830, unmarked. Height "5 ½ / 13.5 cm. Condition: a firing crack visible at the base and a glaze bubble to the Charity image to one side (cf. pics). A smaller Sunderland jug with Hope is presented in another GC offer (cf. last pic).

DESCRIPTION: An engaging carved wood santo figure of a winged cherub, most likely carved in the Philippines. This figure, dating from the early 1900’s, is depicted with black hair, inset glass eyes and extended wings. CONDITION: Some age appropriate losses to original paint. DIMENSIONS: 6.5" high x 16" wide.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1890. The plate measures 9 1/8 inches in diameter. The fine bone china is decorated with a Persian inspired design. The pale pink ground color is decorated with elaborate raised gilding. There are burgundy cut-outs outlined in beaded gilding and white enamel jewels. The design is dazzling. Condition: There is minor wear to gilding on the rim that does not affect the beauty for display.

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Copelands China in the 1880s for the retailer J.E. Caldwell of Philadelphia. They measure 8 1/8 inches in diameter. The porcelain blanks are fluted and scalloped. One plate is pale blue and the other is white. They are decorated with an elaborate pattern of raised enamel beads and intricate gilding. They are an example of the splendor of porcelain in the “Gilded Age”...

German KPM Royal Berlin Porcelain fluted rim oval shape serving Platter with royal Blue and Gold rim, ca. 1920, 10" x 7 3/8" wide, 1 1/8" high, marked underglaze blue Scepter, and KPM in red overglaze with Orb mark, and some numbers and impressed mark on the bottom. The condition is good, some old dull scratches on inner gold rim area.

An Indonesian Yogya solid silver belt buckle from 1900 or earlier. This beautifully hand tooled openwork buckle measures 4-1/2 x 2-7/8" when the two halves are attached with their hook and eye clasp. They have one belt retention bar each and it is unsigned but tests as high grade silver. This fine fashion accessory weighs 62.2 grams and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs.
