This a rare set made by Heisey Glass Company. All pieces are etched with two polo player designs. Includes 12" decanter and 6 cordials and 6 lowball glasses. Excellent condition. Continental Silver Tobacco Box, 18th century-style, crafted most likely end of 19th century, bearing unidentified marks, oval, the hinged cover with repousse scene of a shepherd and shepherdess beneath a tree, the base with bands of beading and laurel, lg. 4 3/8 in., approx. 4.8 troy oz. Condition Report; Likely a married piece, the cover of a lower purity silver than the base. Hinge applied crudely.

A Rare and Unusual Wedgwood Creamware Tea Set with Tray; impressed Wedgwood mark and date mark of THA (1872). Consists of Teapot (4.5" high x 7" spout to handle), Covered Sugar, Creamer, Waste Bowl and Quatrefoil Footed Tray (16.75" x 12.5"). The Design is of Fu Dogs, Butterflies and Branches. In excellent condition.

A stunning cranberry-cut-clear cut glass claret jug with a hammered sterling silver collar and hinged lid with a palmate finial. The Aesthetic-style hammered silver makes are particularly nice counterpoint to the Gothic-inspired design of the cutting which combines tall arches of small diamond cutting divided at the top with elongated triangles of larger diamond cutting. The bottom of the jug is cut with a 36-point star. The applied handle is worked in clear crystal...

This unusual glass paperweight is filled with a devil’s fire motif worked in vibrant opaque shades of red, white and green. The glass of the design has a chalky texture similar to sulphides, but is randomly swirled and peaked in the typical devil’s fire style. The glass of the dome is particularly clear and bright for South Jersey paperweight. There is an incised ring around the periphery, just above the base, that is often found in Jersey weights...

An American Federal Period Coin Silver Creamer or Milk Jug by John McMullin (1765-1843) of Philadelphia. Monogrammed on one side "PJG" with "BB" over it and "MB" under it and the dates 1790 and 1850. On the other side "NRG" and the date 1923. Presumably this was a family piece used over generations. Possibly given originally as a birth present. Dimensions; 6" x 6" x 4" at base; weight 8.2 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A fine mid-19th century pressed glass paperweight in the form of a recumbent lion resting on an opaque glass base. The lion is beautifully detailed and finished in a frosted surface. This lion is similar to one produced by Gillinder for the 1876 Centennial Exposition, but it is much more finely made. The underside of the black base is impressed “490”.

Origin: probably America, ca. 1870...
