This 5-1/2" tall serving piece features different floral scenes on each panel between the footed columns and on the lid; it is marked with DRESDEN with the crown mark for Donath & Co. (1893-1916), and it has a gold rose painted over the Thomas maker's name. It also has the retailer's stamp for Ryrie Bros. Ltd. of Toronto (who were bought out by Birks in the 1920s)...

A beautifully executed American watercolor on paper portrait painting of a woman. The sitter has auburn curls and is dressed in an Empire style dress with wide lace collar, a paisley bordered shawl, white turban, and matching pearl and gem brooch and earrings. All the details are very finely limned.

The painting is in excellent condition, with no creases, tears, fading, or restoration. Sight size is 8" by 6 1/4", and the gilt molded frame size is 10" by 8 1/4".

These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in Germany at the Royal Porcelain Manufacturer, Berlin in the early 20th century. The saucers are 3 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 1 3/4 inches high. They are can shaped with deep saucers. There is raised gold trim on all of the pieces. The colors are exciting and vibrant. They would make an elegant addition to your table. Condition: Excellent

Hand engraved and fully hallmarked for London, England 1882, this 3-3/4" mug features a leaf and floral design on both sides (both slightly different). It has an unidentified maker's mark and a 353/0 pattern number on the bottom. It retains traces of the original internal gilding and it weighs 155 grams. It has a fancy monogram of GETC. This ceramic vase was produced in what was then known as Bohemia at the Turn-Teplitz factory in 1906-07. The artist is identified as Paul Dachel, shown in plate 514, in the book “House of Amphora”. This vase is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter is 5 3/4 inches. It has four handles connecting the double gourd shape. There are gilded knobs sprouting around the top. A band of metallic gilding contains large enameled flowers and foliage...

This porcelain oil lamp was produced in England by the Copeland Factory in the late 18th or early 19th century. There are no markings on this piece but we have seen the exact design on other items identified from the Copeland factory. It measures 4 3/4 inches from the handle to the spout and is 1 1/2 inches high. The porcelain appears to be ironstone china. The shape of the lamp is taken from the ancient Greeks. There is a scene with figures done in high relief on the top...

This glass covered jar was produced in Europe. It has the style of the 1870s period but we are not certain of the manufacturer. The jar is 5 3/4 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches high. The glass is hand blown with a swirl of opalescent color entwined with powder blue. You can feel the ribs in the glass with your fingers. There is a hand painted scene in silhouette of children watching a bird on the lid. It is quite charming, with good detail...
