This an exquisitively carved Baroque Crucifix, probably made in Spain in the Early 18th Century in the manner of The Christ of Clemency (Cristo de la Clemencia) of the Seville Cathedral, Spain. The Christ's body displays, in a lifelike manner, the ribcage pressed against his stretched skin, and carefully rendered arms and leg muscles, with visible veins, to highlight his humanity...

A beautiful, hand painted Bohemian glass portrait vase, made probably by Moser, around 1880. The vase is 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) tall and 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) wide. It is in fine condition.

Edwardian Classical sterling silver trinket box. Made by Howard & Co. in New York in 1901. Oval with straight sides and flat hinged cover. Leafing scrollwork applied to sides and cover top, which also has centrally mounted cherub’s head. Reeded rims with applied leaf border. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, year, and no. 1465. Very good condition.

A well decorated Chinese Imari export plate with underglaze blue and overglaze red, orange and gold. The scene of flowering plants and a Chinese fence covers the face of the plate, from the rim on one side, across the center and onto the opposite rim. There is a single blue line at the outer border and a brown edge. The back is decorated with blue and red trailing flowers and has an unglazed foot. Probably the first quarter of the 18th century...

An early 19th c silk damask vestment with a floral and crown motif. The orphrey portion dates from the 17th century. Actually in quite good condition, with some scattered wear. 46" in length.

A Snuff box in the form of a shoe was a convenient form to put in a jacket pocket to carry snuff. This mahogany and brass studded shoe dates to 1860

Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau sterling silver mirror. Made by Lebkuecher in Newark. Two bracket supports joined by concave and crisscrossing stretchers. Hinged swing oval frame inset with beveled glass. Dense and fluid engraved scrolls, leaves, and flowers on lined ground. Each support has shaped cartouche (vacant). Glass frame engraved with interlaced script monogram. A timeless addition to a lady’s vanity table. Fully marked and numbered 2473/15. Excellent condition with strong definition...

Magnificent and rare German BERLIN Koenigliche Porzellan Manufaktur "KPM" reticulated or cut out 2-piece porcelain basket vase, sugar basket also known as compote (1820 - 1830, designed by Karl Friederich Schinkel). The outer container is a white and gold basket weave in a lattice pattern and the separate inset piece/fitted interior bowl is a gorgeous powder-lapis lazuli-blue and gold recipient. Both have the iron red KPM and underglaze blue sceptre markings...

A group of pink lusterware made by Allerton, Staffordshire: slop bowl, two cups and three saucer bowls, all decorated with the Dahlia flowers typical of Charles Allerton & Sons, c 1860-70. Pattern numbers (?) 22, 707 and 701. Diameter of slop bowl "5½ / 14 cm, height of cups "2 ½ / 6.5 cm, diameter of saucers c. "5½ / 14 cm. Condition: wear to part of the decoration, nick to the foot rim of the slop bowl, one saucer with a hairline (cf. pics).

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1880s. The saucer measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine bone china. Each piece has molded high relief designs in the porcelain. The cup has a unique shape. From the rim of the cup it puffs out and then tapers toward the bottom. The rims of the cup and saucer are slightly scalloped. The decoration on this set is truly a work of art...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It has first quality, under glaze blue crossed swords markings. The saucer measures 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The cup features a ring handle. Each piece is expertly hand painted with colorful sprays of delicate flowers. There are gilded accents and gold trim on the rims and handle...
