This shaving box is a truly wonderful and unusual piece of Americana, and was used to hold and sharpen razors. It was not a common household object, and not many survived from the 18th century. Nina Fletcher Little discusses these charming boxes in her book, Neat and Tidy, and shows a similar example. A beautiful and uncommonly small 18th century glass mug, English, possibly a wine mug. Applied trailing at the top and center, with an applied grooved handle. Finely engraved with the name "Clarence Arthur." Polished pontil.

A Wonderful Set of Georgian Silver Irish Teaspoons, all Marked "JWE" on Back Where the Handle Meets the Bowl (presumably the owner of the set). One is marked 1799 and WW for William Ward, Three are marked 1799 and JK for John Keene, one is marked 1794 and IS for James Scott (indistinct) and one is marked 1805 and IB for J Brady (also indistinct). A lovely bright olive green vase with molded ribbed blocking and cold-gilt gold and platinum decoration depicting thistles. The gilding is of very fine quality and has almost an Aesthetic Movement appearance. The vase uses a cased construction of various layers of clear and colored glass typical of Moser. The bottom is finished with a concave polished pontil and is marked with the form/decoration code “Q/195”.

A wonderful Art Nouveau sterling silver cracker scoop in Blackinton’s 1904 “Daisy” pattern. The handle, decorated with flowers and foliage, nicely accents the ruffled edge of the bowl. A Pair of Doulton Lambeth Candlesticks. The base is incised with the Doulton Lambeth Silicon mark. They are Clay colored with Applied Decoration in Cream and Light Blue. The height is 6.25" and they date from c. 1895. They are in excellent condition.

Antique American running horse gold gilt copper body weathervane, a beautiful example with great lines and form in typical antique condition with some wear denting and bullet holes. Mounted on a black painted wood display stand measuring approx. overall length 29 inches. A fine piece would make a great decorative accent piece for any interior antique or modern.

Dimensions; 4.25" high x 4" wide x 2.75" deep. Has the "n" mark for Nurenberg and the number 13 (0.812 silver) on the lip of the bottom (both barely visible in the picture). Excellent condition.
