A genuine late 17th to mid 18th century hand made openwork European grade sterling pierced strainer or ladle with a gilded bowl. This unusual 8" ladle has a gilt and pierced 2-3/8" x 2" bowl with a pouring lip, and would be a slightly higher than 800 grade silver. The openwork handle has wonderfully ornate hand made wire-work with two central medallions, which have never been engraved/monogrammed. Words can hardly describe this spectacular Art Pottery centerbowl, made by Amphora Work Riessner, Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, with the 1918-1939 Riessner company mark ); also marked 20122, 43, and C. The large ivory basketweave bowl with delicate applied flowers is supported by beautifully modeled figures of a boy and girl in pastel drape. Condition: Restored; very minor _ in. hairline crack in boy’s hair, firing crack on base. Measurement: 14 _ in. diam x 11 _ in. high.

This is a rare Victorian sterling diner’s napkin hook with a patent date of 1879. A real conversation starter! Diner’s napkin hooks have been in existence since the 17th century, but were all the rage during the Victorian era. To keep from spilling food on their finery, gentlemen simply attached their napkin to the clip on one end and then put the small hook over the top of their collars. Condition: excellent. Measurement: 2 _ in. long.

This is a fine sterling silver napkin ring with a Gorham mark made in the Victorian period, ca 1860, brite cut with scrolling flowers and monogrammed RCW. Condition is very good having small surface dings; Measurement: 1 5/8 in. diam. x 1 in. high.

This is an exquisite Dresden porcelain tea pot, studio mark of Richard Klemm, ca. 1891-1914; of flattened ovoid shape with a ruffled foot, lovely open vine handle, and distinctive shaped rim; decorated with Deutsche blumen and overall gilding. Condition: pristine; no chips or cracks, no visible wear to gilt. Measurement: 6 _"h.

This is a fabulous Victorian sterling ladies’ card case for that special collector, marked "sterling and "W&H" for the well-known New York silversmiths Wood & Hughes. The shaped case, with an attachment for a chain, has beautiful foliate engraving surrounding a central cartouche with the name "Hettie" and "1876" in the center; a Victorian heart is engraved on the reverse. Condition: very good with minor nicks; hinged lid snaps closed evenly. Measurement: 3.50 in long. x 2.50 in. wide

We believe that is is a Royal Rudolstadt Urn, despite the lack of a mark. It is decorated with florals, with a gilt handle and sits on a pedestal base. It is 13" high and it is in excellent condition. Late 19th century.

A very nice pair of 19th century wooden Russian Easter eggs handpainted with traditional motifs. One egg is brightly painted with a maiden wearing peasant clothing and the traditional kokoshnik headdress. The reverse side is painted with the letters “XB” for Khristos Voskrese (“Christ Is Risen”). The other egg is painted with a scene of a peasant woman walking through a birch forest toward her log hut. This egg, too, is painted with “XB”...

A Hand Painted Bavarian chocolate set for the Late 19th century.Consists of a Chocolate of Coffee Pot (9.5") and Six Cups (3.25". The Design Consists of Hand Painted Florals. There are a few small wear spots on the bottom edge of the cups, but otherwise it is excellent condition.

A large Dresden Porcelain Ewer by Sitzendorf (Thuringia, Germany). It is heavily decorated with puttis and weighs 4 lbs. 10 oz. and measures 15" high x 7" wide. It dates from 1887-1896. There is a slight chip on the hoof below the lip of the ewer, otherwise in excellent condition.

Extremely elegant Louis XV-style French silver master salt dip with cobalt glass liners. The shapes of the containers remind me of Louis XV bombe commodes. The repousse design is very architectural in nature, and makes use of numerous decorative elements such as fluted columns, ribbons, cartouches, and pendant bellflowers. Surprisingly, none of the four cartouches has ever been monogrammed. Although intended for salt only, this piece could be used today to serve both salt and pepper...

Very nice Chinese export porcelain tea pot in Canton decoration. The slightly tapered drum-shaped body is decorated with typical Canton scenes of islands, bridges, boats, etc. and is accented with a raincloud border along the top edge. The lid, spout and handle are also decorated with typical motifs. The color is very nice with terrific clarity and depth. Likewise, the body is of nice color.

Origin: China, circa 1820. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks...
