A superb quality very large pottery figure of a male attendant or official, dating to the earlier Ming Dynasty, 1400-1500 AD.

The figure is placed on a high hexagonal plint and wears a fine two-colour blue and turquoise glazed robe. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details.

The head is attachable as often seen on the largest figures from this period.

Antique second half of the 19th century Bohemian hand-blown clear cut-glass decanter and stopper made for the Middle Eastern, Persian and Ottoman market. Body of bulbous form with long neck applied with three faceted rings, cut with leaf-shaped panels of hobnail, leaves and diamonds, enamelled with blossom and scrolls and gold gilt, with spire stopper. Base with a ground down pontil mark.

French or possibly Belgian footed cup and saucer. Decoration of gilding in stripes, and a rose pattern where the gilding has been tooled. The raised handle with a lion’s mask, c 1810-20. Height including handle: 4”/10,5 cm, diam. of saucer: 5 ¼”/13 cm. Condition: some rubbing to gilding, esp. on rim and handle of cup.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Worcester around 1770. We have seen other pieces of Worcester in this pattern and although there is no marking, we believe it is Worcester. The diameter of the plate is 9 inches. The plate is rather deep. The border is colored with olive green enamel. The interior of the plate has hand painted flowers cascading across it. They are delicately painted with bright colors...

The Jacob Petit factory at Fontainebleau produced these porcelain cornucopia vases Century 1840. The lavish cornucopias are mounted on rectangular bases decorated with rocaille and gilded swags and vines; the corners are finished with swans. The horn is molded, painted with flowers in reserve on each side. The rim is a rococo staple of undulating flourishes, decorated in gold in the upper interior. A Victorian Pottery Syrup, Milk or Cream Jug or Pitcher with a Pewter Lid; circa 1880. Marked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield on Inside of the Pewter Lid. The Design consists of three Bands of Flowers; under the lid, the body and the base. Dimensions 7.25" high x 4.25" wide. Very good condition.

An elegant and beautiful English ratafia DSOT (double series opaque twist) glass. Ratafia glasses are quite uncommon, and this is a particularly fine example. The elongated conical bowl is has molded flutes in the lower three quarters and leads into a stem with a 14-ply spiral band outside of a pair of spiral tapes.

This glass is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration...

Finely engraved with floral decoration along the rim and with a beautiful portrait of Christ in the center.

A beautiful example of the Coalport factory "Rock and Tree" pattern, done in the Imari palette, derived from the Japanese. This pattern was highly favored by George, the Prince of Wales and the Prince Regent, and was used and still displayed at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton.

The dish, or soup bowl, is in superb condition, with no flaws and with factory-fresh looking painting and gilding...

A beautiful glass vase with 'chariot decor', made most likely by Moser. The vase is 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) tall and 6 inches (15 cm) wide at the top. It is in good condition (some flea-bites at bottom-rim from usage). The vase is artist-signed, Brandt'. Unsigned, but made most likely by Moser - usage of gold and platinum in the decor is a particular Moser trait.

An Extra Large Set of Victorian Sterling Fish Servers with Carved Ivory Handles. Made by Hillard & Thomason, Birmingham, England, 1872. Dimensions; Knife, 13.5" x 2", fork, 10.5" x 2.5". Fork and Knife are All Sterling Silver. properly marked, except for the Ivory Handles. Excellent condition.

A red and white overlay and marbled glass vase by Loetz, Bohemia. From the Carneol series, of square shape and decorated with a lace-like pattern in white enamel and gilt. Carneol glass was produced in 1888 and 1889. Height "4 / 10.5 cm. Condition: fine.

This interesting little ceramic figure is purportedly from the Majapahit period (1293-1500)of Eastern Java. Possibly a religious figure, it is barefoot and has tribal head-dress and flowing robes. There does appear to be a light colored glaze underneath the surface dirt which I have not attempted to remove or clean. The statue is just under 20 cm in height and weighs 444 grams. This is a truly unique piece of ancient artwork, the likes of which we have not seen...

Pair of Edwardian Georgian sterling silver candlesticks, 1927. Retailed by Black, Starr & Frost in New York. Each: Bellied socket with detachable bobeche; tapering shaft on raised foot. Faceted with lined frames. Foot has applied trapezoidal mono plate. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, Gorham date letter, and no. 4/15. Very good condition.
