This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Copelands China in the 1880s for the retailer J.E. Caldwell of Philadelphia. They measure 8 1/8 inches in diameter. The porcelain blanks are fluted and scalloped. The ground color is salmon pink. They are decorated with an elaborate pattern of raised enamel beads and intricate gilding. They are an example of the splendor of porcelain in the “Gilded Age”. These plates are exhibition worthy. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain parasol handle was produced in Germany by a Dresden manufacturer in the late 19th century. It is unmarked but the workmanship is definitely from Dresden. It is 5 1/2 inches long and the knob is 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The ground color is cobalt blue. The knob has a scene of lovers in a garden inside a cartouche of ornate raised gilding. A very nice Imperial Russian enameled silver spoon by Gustav Klingert. The bowl is beautifully decorated in five shades of opaque cloisonné enamels and in translucent red and amethyst. It is unusual to find such a striking multi-colored basket of such size and in such wonderful condition. The splint basket, with its wooden handle, is from the Northeast area of the United States, and is done in shades of blue-green, orange-red, and brown.

The basket is 18" long, 12" wide, and 14 " to the top of the handle. Overall condition is excellent, with only one splint split on the interior, not visible from the outside.

A fantastic display or collection piece.

A very attractive late 19th century first standard (950/1000 pure silver) wine taster by Parisian silversmith Louis Coignet. The tastevin is decorated in the Bourgogne style with an applied handle in snake form. The serpent is beautifully decorated with engraved scales and eyes.
