This porcelain tea cup with lid and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Berlin, c. 1870s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 3 1/4 inches high including the lid. The set is made of fine white hard paste porcelain. The decoration is inspired by Japanese design. Nice early South Jersey glass paperweight with a frit setup depicting a cabin surrounded by the motto "Home Sweet Home". The cabin has trees in the yard, smoke curling from the chimney, and a well in the foreground. The design is worked entirely in white frit. The base has a broken pontil and an incised ring around the base, as is typical of S. Jersey paperweights.

Origin: America, ca 1890. Condition: light surface scratching to the crown, no chips. Size: 3-1/2" diameter; 2-1/2" high.

Victorian Classical sterling silver picture, ca 1900. Oval window in same surround with plain and flat sides. Front inset with sparkly paste diamonds. Detachable glazed front with bead-and-real border. With silk lining and butler-finished back and hinged easel support. Interlaced script monogram on back. Marked “Sterling”. Very good condition.

A hand hammered brass teapot with rattan wrapped handle, probably Germany, c 1910. Together with a burner by Jan Eisenlöffel, c 1900. The burner with “hammered” dark blue glass walls made in the 1990’s to fit the exact style of the original. Height of teapot "7½/ 19 cm, width "8/ 20 cm, width of burner "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: fine.

An antique watercolor painting of an early Maine farm house with out buildings. It is a modest setting but with a very neat and tidy welcoming look. It is 6 by 9" and with mat and frame is 9 3/4" by 13". It show lines where is was folded at one time. I have not had it out of the frame. ( I bought this in an estate sale in Maine so I am assuming it is Maine but it doesn't have to be.)

A George III Scottish Silver Sugar and Cream Jug by Francis Howden and hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1810. Bright cut engraved decoration. Gilt interior and reeded border. The marks are faint, but between the two pieces can be made out. Dimensions; creamer 8" x 4.5"; sugar 5.75" x 4.5"; weight 16.5 Troy ounces total. Excellent condition.

A wonderful French first empire tole ware monteith, the sides hand painted with bouquets of colorful flowers against ivory-colored reserves flanked by gilt grapevine designs. The sides rise to handles cast in the form of swans’ heads--a feature very rarely seen. Verrieres are typically oval in shape, but this example is round. A very good jasper ground glass paperweight by St. Louis. The sole decoration is the pink and white jasper cushion which completely fills the dome. The glass is heavy and nicely clear. The polished concave bottom has relatively wide basal ring.

Origin: France, ca. 1850. Condition: excellent, a surface nick on one side about 1/2" above the base and a tiny fleabite about two-thirds up the side of the crown. Size: 2-3/4" diameter; 1-3/4" high.

An Irish Sterling Silver Meat or Game Skewer with a Designed Edge. From 1782 and Hallmarked in Dublin, with the makers mark of MS (possibly Michael Smith). Length; 9.635", weight; 2 ounces. Some wear marks from usage, but in excellent condition.

This chrome and wood kettle on a stand was produced in Meridan, Connecticut by Manning and Bowman with a patent date of 1904. The kettle and stand together are 12 1/2 inches high. The kettle, from spout to end is 11 inches. The kettle has a rosewood handle and knob. There is a rosewood fitting in the base of the stand which holds an alcohol burner to keep the kettle hot. The paper label from the manufacturer is still intact. It is designed with clean lines in the style of the arts and crafts...

This porcelain bowl was produced in the United States by the Pickard Studio between 1903 and 1905. It is signed Shoner for the artist Otto Shoner. The bowl measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter, handles not included. There are “wish-bone” handles on each side of this scalloped and blown out bowl. The blank originally came Tressemann and Vogt Limoges, France and was decorated at the Pickard Studio. The painting is in the art nouveau style.
