A Magnificent 15 Piece Dessert or Ice Cream Set in the Mazarin pattern by Dominick & Haff for Theodore B. Starr. The set consists of 12 Spoons (5.75"), an Ice Cream Knife (12.5"), a Berry Spoon (9"), and a Sugar Sifter (7"). All pieces are gold washed at the service end. The pattern was introduced in 1892 and this set is believed to date from shortly afterward. The total weight is 18.7 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

An ornate thick sterling silver overlay and glass decanter decorated in the Art Nouveau style with an intricately designed pattern of grapes and leaves, having a beautiful lattice pattern extending up the neck. The matching hexagon shaped finial stopper is hand blown with a tear drop bubble. The handle is of a solid silver overlay design, monogrammed, stamped STERLING and Style No.745 on base, circa 1895...

This porcelain serving dish was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1918. The porcelain was made at the KPM Royal Berlin factory and hand painted by Hutschenreuther. There are marks from both of the factories on the bottom. The dish is 17 1/4 inches long, 6 1/4 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high at the handle. The dish has a handle and is separated into two sections. The porcelain is masterfully sculpted with ornamental elements that look like gilded bronze...

Often confused with Whitby Jet, French Jet is polished glass with a more brilliant luster and flashier. Like Whitby Jet, it is truly antique, of the (Victorian) period, and no longer made, and therefore highly collectible. Like Whitby Jet, it was often used for mourning. This lightweight collar has a classic and unique look, looks terrific on and can be adjusted to different lengths about the neck, as it has a simple ribbon tie closure...

Antique 18th -19th century Sino Tibetan Small Bronze Figure of Guanyin Quan Yin Antique, 18th -19th century, Sino Tibetan bronze figure of Guanyin Quan Yin, finely cast and skillfully hand chased, depicting a bodhisattva seated in dhyanasana, on a lotus base, and the hands, that are in dhyanamudra. She is dressed in layered robes wearing a jeweled necklace and elaborate crown.

An Oude Loosdrecht plate with a modest bouquet of hand painted flowers in the center of the well, sprigs of flowers here and there, a molded lip with the molding picked out in blue and a gilt edge. Marked on the bottom with the initials M.O.L. with a star and incised with a star, letters and numbers. 9 ¾ inches (24.8 cm) diameter.

Condition: the most serious damage is a visible chip on the rim. There is also a tiny one below the rim...

Very pretty hand chased sterling basket by Whiting Mfg. Co. Basket measures 3 3/4" wide and 2 3/8" tall ( excluding the handle). This Aesthetic Movement basket has a lovely detailed foliate motif (morning glory?), a fluted rim, and a gilded interior. The twisted handle is attached to a beautiful curved silver application and rests on the side of the basket. There is a monogram on the back. Circa 1870. Excellent condition.

This set of 8 porcelain dessert plates was produced in Germany by Rosenthal around 1900. They were produced in Rosenthal’s “Dresden Works”. The plates measure 8 ½ inches in diameter. They are intricately hand gilded with raised and beaded gilding and hand painted with vividly colored roses. The design has an art nouveau style. These plates are wonderful for display or use. This pair of porcelain plates was produced in France by Haviland Limoges in 1905. The two marks indicate this period. They measure 9 1/8 inches in diameter. The molded border has a crimped edge creating a pattern around the rim. The 1 5/8 inch cobalt blue border is ornately gilded. It is hand painted by the Haviland artist S. Armand. The scenes depict beautiful young women in garden landscapes. The expert artistry is evident in each minute detail...

A most unusual blanc de chine rhyton cup of hard paste German porcelain of the 18th century. The features and details are simply amazing as the discerning collector will observe hand cut details in the scrolling tendrils that flank the sides, as well as the hand molded mane of the backside of the rams head. Every detail is hand accented, evidenced by the slight imperfections that only an artisan would leave behind...

English Georgian sterling silver salver, 1926. Retailed by Tiffany & Co. in England. Round with molded serpentine rim. Four scroll-mounted hoof supports. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd) and London assay stamp as well as retailer’s stamp (“Tiffany & Co / England”). Very good condition.

A wonderful hexagonal shaped ironstone flow mulberry covered dish with handles, often times called a vegetable dish, in the Jeddo pattern by William Adams and Sons, c. 1850. The dish and lid are structurally sound but there are a few condition defects to note. On the underside of the lid, there are 2 very shallow chips. On the underside of the foot, there are also 2 chips - 1 very small and the other about 1/4". We show pictures of all defects...

This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in Austria by a Vienna Porcelain manufacturer in the1880s. It has an artist’s signature “Schuler” in the painting. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter...

A Britannia Standard (used from 1697-1720 and 95.84% silver, versus sterling at 92.5%) Sterling Mug, from London, 1719. Makers marks indistinct. Dimensions; 3.5" high. Very good condition.

Nice sterling silver sugar spoon in Whiting's classic 1880 "Bead" pattern. Whiting's designs are valued because of the small details such as the scalloped edges of the bowl. The reverse is marked with Whiting's old hallmark.
