A striking and extremely rare hooked rug featuring a peacock displaying its beautiful plumage. This is a very graphically strong depiction, striking in its design.

Elegant sterling silver footed basket with flaring, reticulated sides and a hoop handle. The swirling pattern of the piercing echoes the basket's scalloped rim. The top of the handle has a reserve for a monogram, but was never monogramed. The bottom has Durgin's early hallmark and the retailer's mark "Hodson, Kennard & Co." Many of Durgin's earlier products were sold through such upscale Boston retailers.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 3 1/4 inches and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. The cup has a ring handle. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is decorated with cobalt flow blue flowers and leaves, rust red flowers, and embellished with gold. These 6 crystal cups and saucers were produced in Bohemia by Theresienthal around 1900. The saucers measure 5 inches long and 4 ½ inches wide. The cups are 2 inches high with a diameter of 2 ½ inches. They are made of hand blown glass with leaded content. They ring when tapped. A beautiful and wonderfully proportioned antique Georgian cordial glass. The round funnel bowl tops a rare stem configuration of a double series air twist (DSAT) comprised of a pair of 7 ply spiral bands outside of a central pair of mercury corkscrews. The plain conical foot has a rough, snapped pontil. The glass is 6 1/2 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 1 13/16 inches and a goodly foot diameter of 3 inches...

A high quality brilliant cut crystal fruit bowl c1900-10. This 9-1/4" across and 2-3/8" high bowl has an acid stamp mark with the Elite mark in a maple leaf (which was the mark for Clapperton). This item is in very good original condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than the expected chips and flakes to the upper rim (on about 8 peaks with the largest shown)...

A Round Brass Inkwell from the Victorian Period, with Underplate. Dimensions; 9" diameter tray (5" inkwell) x 5.5" high. Late 19th century. Pin Replaced, but in Very Good Condition.

A superb double series opaque twist 5 ring Lynn glass with a 4 ply gauze surrounded by a lace tape. Conical foot with rough pontil. Supposedly, this has a minute foot chip, but I have not been able to find it, despite very careful examination.

A Sterling Silver Tiffany Circular Fruit or Center Bowl with a Floral Design Edge. Dimentins; 8.5" x 2"; weight 16 S, 14.6 Troy ounces. There is a script monogram in the center of the bowl. From the Charles Cook period, 1902-1907. Excellent condition.

Measuring 15.5" long x 8.25" high x 1.75" deep, this circa 1890s, wonderful and quite fancy, hand-cut iron utensil or clothing rack sports 5 hooks for hanging. It features an unusual stylized heart or perhaps even a stylized floral design which adds to its visual appeal. Condition is very good with excellent, warm patina. Faint pitting and minimal traces of rust. A hanging-hole on each end is present for easy mounting. A visually-attractive antique iron piece with utilitarian purpose!

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The fine quality porcelain is colored cobalt blue. There are 3 cartouches containing sprays of vibrantly colored flowers. They are framed with elaborate gilding. You can see delightful bugs and butterflies fluttering amongst the flowers. The border of the plate has the most elaborate hand gilding...
