Very unusual glass paperweight from the New England Glass Company. The weight is worked in a patriotic theme with shards of red, white and blue opaque glass rods making up the scrambled design--possibly in celebration of America's centennial in 1876. The center of the setup is punctuated with a large icepick bubble--a technique I have never seen used in an American scrambled weight. There is also a rare silhouette cane of a pine tree. 12 Lenox Porcelain encrusted wide Gold Rim Plates with white Berries, made for "Tiffany & Co.", Ca. 1915, 10 1/2" diameter, encrusted gold leafy vines with white Berry, marked "Lenox, Tiffany & Co." in green on the bottom, and marked "X 10 1/2"/F49" in gold upper bottom area next to bottom rim. There is a small chip on the bottom rim and some worn spots on wide inner gold rim.

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in France by Jean Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It was sold “white ware” to a studio artist for decoration. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The cup is 2 7/8 inches high with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches. The set is made of fine, translucent porcelain. The cup features an ornate handle. The birthstone for December, this antique five-stone turquoise ring, with its smooth, sky blue, nicely matched stones, is 15K and hallmarked Chester, 1907. Turquoise was thought to have talisman properties and to bring good fortune to the wearer. The ring is a size 7.5

Two antique bunny rabbits, one is a paper mache candy container and the other is a fury rabbit with moveable arms and legs and a wire that may have attached him to a basket or it stabilizes her to stand. They both are a little under 5" tall and show their age a bit. They are both as cute as can be.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1884. There are date ciphers indicating this year. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set is made of fine bone china. It has an intricate decoration in Persian style. A lovely pair of hyacinth vases in teal blue glass. The classic shape is slightly conical with a widely flaring rim for resting the bulb over the water. These vases are especially attractive because of their rich color. Forcing hyacinths and other bulbs to bloom indoors was something of a Victorian passion that continued well into the 20th century.

Origin: America, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 7" tall.

A beautiful Flight, Barr and Barr Worcester plate from the desirable "Harlequin" service. The decoration features an exotic bird painted by Henry Stinton in a central reserve which is surrounded by a white field edged with gilded rococo scrollwork extending into the cavetto. The wide rim of the plate is in a pale blue decorated with multicolored butterflies and insects.

The reverse of the plate has the elaborate red mark which was used specifically during the 1813 to 1819 period.

A stunning and very early carved head for a wig, in oak wood, gothic style of the late Scandinavian renaissance, c. 1630-60.

Very attractive features, almond eyes, thick brows and a pointed beard. This wig heads becomes common in the later 18th. century, but heads this early are exceedingly rare!

Height: c. 40 cm. - a large and impressive antiquity, that would look good with an original 17th. c. helmet as well as a wig.

Fancy American Victorian sterling silver basket, ca 1890. Retailed by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Oval well and wide flared mouth; spread and reeded foot. Rim interior has cast scrolls, shells, and leaves with pendant flowers in open scroll rondels as well as chased flowers and leaves. Open curvilinear swing handle with leaves and flowers as well as central scrolled oval frame (vacant). Fully marked including retailer’s stamp and no. 4727/94. Very good condition.
