A beautiful Rocco design English chamber stick with snuffer 4”x5.25” Nineteenth Century pewter

An early 19th century box, probably an eyeglass case. Made of cardboard, the top decorated with a pearl embroidered flower and owner’s initials in wool, all surrounded by gilt paper ribbons, so-called Dresden trims. Germany, c 1830-40. An interesting antique silver plated pinioned-lid stamp box c1880-1890. This 2-5/8" x 1-1/2" unsigned box features a floral corner applique and two applied butterflies on the top, a pin stop and corner swinging pivot. The interior has remnants of what appears to be adhesive from some missing material and it has two cutout felt pieces; it would make a nice tiny jewel box also...

Unusual black lacquer and gold papier-mache tobacco box with scenes featuring the preparation of cured tobacco leaves used for wrapping cigars. Measures: 5.5" long, 2.5" wide, 2" high

French Boulle Style Tea Caddy, rectangular with cut-corners and slightly domed lid with all sides and two interior lids extensively inlaid with engraved brass and red and black colored lacquer simulating tortoise-shell in the 17th century manner. Circa 1850.

Rose quartz carnelian seal fob / stamp: an intaglio of three fleurs de lys under a royal crown, the French pre-revolutionary official seal, c 1790 or earlier. Width "4/5/ 2 cm. Condition: fine.

Pair 18th Century Italian Rococo Gold frame girandole Mirrors, Ca. 1750-1780, 26" high, 16" wide, 7" deep, original mercury glass and original one(1) bronze candle arm for each mirror. Rare, circa 1860, English walnut tea caddy featuring nice clean lines with its only decoration being the word “TEA” inlaid in sterling silver. The lid is hinged and the interior features two separate rectangular compartments with removable wooden lids for storage. In very good antique condition with expected signs of use with some light scratches, a minor nick to the walnut finish, and a small piece of silver missing at the food of the “T”. Measures 3.5" high, 7.5" long, 5" wide

Medallion representing Napoleon Bonaparte wearing the laurel wreath. The emperor is represented still young. This must be one of the earliest depictions of the emperor, arround 1800-1805. On the edge is inscribed in french "Napoleon the great Emperor and King", the medallion is mounted on a horn box. The medallion is in bronze or gilded copper with a beautiful slightly greenish mercury gilding, it is framed by a strapping of pink metal which must be pink gold. Good condition, no restoration...

19th Yi dynasty Korean Buddha painting with 16 deities. The Korean Buddhist painting represents the portrayal of buddha giving a sermon on the Lotus Sutra on Youngchuksan mountain. The buddha is centrally positioned and directed as a larger figure amongst the many budasatvasf and lesser gods.

DESCRIPTION: A handsome Victorian era (c. 1890) copper coal scuttle with brass handle and hinges, having a built-in copper “pocket” on the top to hold a shovel scoop. These coal scuttles are practical today for removing ashes from your fireplace, and making a warm “hearth and home” statement. This one shows use with scattered small dents and a base repair. Oval wooden plaque decorated with a group of Tarantella dancers, in the marquetry work typical of Sorrento, Italy. #699 Antique Scottish Penwork Tea Chest in Maple with all over decoration of leaves and acorns and a central paterae on the stepped lid of a mother with two children. Inside are two removable lidded tea caddies with penwork leaf and grape decoration and the underside of the lid has a faux coral design.

An interesting American painted wooden box with a domed lid and four feet. The color is a dark eggplant black (black with a slight purple hue) with split rattan bands painted yellow. The interior of the lid is painted yellow, teal green, and off white. The same color palate and pattern is repeated on inside bottom and outside bottom. This sturdy box is in excellent condition, measuring 13" long, 7" high...

An Antique Cinnabar Chinese carved tea jar. Carved in high relief with figures in a garden landscape. Some carved flowers on the lid and shoulder of the jar.

DESCRIPTION: An antique French wine pitcher crafted like a barrel from staves of wood bound by five hand wrought iron hoops. The top hoop forms the neck and spout, the handle is iron wrapped wood. Originating from the Alsace region in eastern France, this pitcher is a wonderful compliment to any French, country or farmhouse décor. DIMENSIONS; 15" high x 12 1/4" diameter.
