An exeptional rosewood tea caddy with heavy cast brass handles and brass cast feet in casket form with shaped lid and lock. The edges are possibly yew wood. The interior is fitted with removable hinge lidded compartments with a round center for mixing bowl which is not included. Though tea caddy displays beautifully it has a couple of flows, the first of which is a gap in the lid toward the right as you face it...

This is an original Antique (Pre-1900 / 1900) Gadget (Sword) Cane, with a Carved Horse Head Handle made from Stag Angler, with a long ( 3 1/2 inches) carved bone collar that displays a superb natural old patina, and a wooden scabbard/shaft that measures 30 inches. The collar and handle appear sealed as one piece. Protruding from the collar is a four-sided Sword blade made from steel and measuring 25 inches...

Fine old lacquerware antique, cylindrical box, possibly Karen or Shan, from North Thailand, with rattan bindings, these are becoming increasing difficult to find these days. Some loss of lacquer on the surface. H: 15cm/5.8in and D: 7.3cm/2.8in.

Wonderful terrier dog dressed up in a huntsmans riding helmet. Mixed metal, highly detailed. Missing inkwell bowl. Very worn paint finish w/ minor hints of brown paint and red mouth indicate it was fully painted at one time. Very good structural condition. Heavy base. Measures 5 inches tall.

Circa 1756, sterling silver French snuff box featuring a man's profile with initials. The bottom has an embossed farming scene with the sides having various vignettes including a hunter and a shepherdess. In very good condition commensurate with age, there is a small separation on the lid, see last photo. Measures 2.75" x 2" x 1" high. Hallmarked.

Fine English Regency tea chest of sarcophagus form in rosewood, banded and inlaid with brass; the rectangular, canted lid opens to a fitted interior with two lidded tea caddies ad a later sugar bowl. Circa 1810-15.

Chinese Export Black Lacquer Tea Chest, rectangular with cut corners and lobbed body with gilt decoration of figures in courtyards; the stepped, hinged lid opening to two pewter lidded and engraved caddies and the whole raised on gilt dragon-form feet. Medallion representing Napoleon Bonaparte wearing the laurel wreath. The emperor is represented still young. This must be one of the earliest depictions of the emperor, arround 1800-1805. On the edge is inscribed in french "Napoleon the great Emperor and King", the medallion is mounted on a horn box. The medallion is in bronze or gilded copper with a beautiful slightly greenish mercury gilding, it is framed by a strapping of pink metal which must be pink gold. Good condition, no restoration...

Antique Renaissance Revival Desk Cabinet, ebonized with ormolu mounts, having a galleryed superstructure with a hinged door below, opening to a divider interior, and raised on flattened ball feet.
