An early and sizable bronze mortar, Flemish / dated 1617!

Very attractive European renaissance mortar that comes with a pestle from the period. The mortar of the typical flemish design with the conical vessel, two zoomorphic handles and a wide rim. The mortar is finely decorated with archantus leafs and inscribed along the rim with LOF GODT VAN AL, AO 1617.

Offered is a grouping of ten, highly decorative and seldom-found, 19th century, apothecary or pharmacy drawer pulls. These nonmagnetic, metal pulls are adorned with fancy ornamental scroll work and stunning, applied copper labels which identify the specific drawer contents.

These antique, circa 1890s pulls are complete and are quite visually appealing, displaying very well. They show mild wear and imperfections commensurate with their 130+ years of age. For example, some are slightly misshape...
