The ultimate in men’s accessories is this 14Kt white gold pen knife from the early twentieth century. It was originally used on watch chains as a functional fob. The knife has two folding blades one of which is a knife blade and the other is a nail file/ pick. On the front there is a diamond shaped 14Kt yellow gold plaque, hand-engraved with the initials H.D. The length of the knife is 2 3/8” including the fold down bail, and the width is 7/16”.

Circa. 1900- Delicately carved handle, carved as a Pinocchio-type head with extremely long wood nose, metal collar, exotic ribbed wood shaft with brass ferrule to tip. A beautifully carved ivory lion forms the handle for this circa 1900-1910 dress cane. With glass eyes and a menacing snarl, the lion measures 2-1.2 x 1 inches and tops a slender ivory collar, rosewood shaft and ivory tip. Overall length is 36 inches.

Like many nostrums of this era, abundant claims were made for the treatment of a wide range of maladies.
