This is a graphic pin cushion from the 1860's in brown, blue and tan star pattern. The back is a egg wash blue linen. It has a nice blue velvet saw tooth edge that goes around the middle of the cushion. It is all hand sewn, a real work of art. It is worn but mellow and nice. It is 8" diameter and is 4" high. A nice surviving example of a Civil War era pin cushion.

Very rare antique cut crystal with a sterling silver cap alcohol holder complete with a sterling chain attached to a sterling silver thermometer case which contains the original thermometer. This absolutely wonderful pair of Victorian opera glasses are marked Lemaire Fabt, Paris. They were made in Paris, and date back to about 1880-90. They measure 4” wide and 3” tall when fully extended and were part of the extravagant Paris opera scene during the Victorian period. What a joy to be able to take them to the opera today. A set of 4 very old and nicely patinated European Powderhorns, made of flat-pressed cowhorns, leather and wood, all can be dated around 1700-1762.
