This beautiful Olmec mask is made from semi-translucent jade. It is 3" X 3 1/2". Very deeply defined features. I purchased it from Michael Robbins of Santa Fe in 1989. It has high polish. A very nice authentic piece at a low price.

This extremely rare standing Olmec figure is 3" long and 1 1/2" wide at the shoulders. It is made from true jadeite that is semi-translucent at the right arm and shoulder. This is one of my favorites from the Heflin ceramic collection. It has been broken and glued back together and is missing parts. Dr. Allen Heflin found this piece in Xico, Mexico in 1960 according to his journal. He must have hung it on his wall since he glued a wire to the back. This is a clear representation of a man either emerging or being swallowed by Quetzalcoatl. It is 6" long by 5" wide. The imagery scrams pre-Columbian. It is attributed to the Aztec culture C1300AD.

Pre-Columbian, Mayan, Early Classic, circa 250-450 AD large terracotta bowl on flaring foot. The polychrome exterior is painted in grey, cream, dark and pale orange with geometric design.
CONDITION: repaired crack on the side, nice showing the age and usage patina.
MEASUREMENTS: Diameter: 23.5cm (9 ½ inches ). Height: 9.5cm (3 ¾ inches).

Pre Columbian Nicoya TRIPOD BOWL Papagayo Polychrome, Ca. 1200-1350 Nicoya, Northwest Costa Rica, Central America chip to rim as seen , Size H 4" Dia 5.75"

This Tunjo is 5 1/2" long. Tunjos are from the Musica culture, 900AD-1500AD. This culture inhabited the high plateau in the area of modern Bogota. Most Tunjos that survived are made from gold or tumbaga. Obviously, many were made from bone, but being an organic material, very few bone ones have survived. In fact, this is the only one I have ever seen. I have had several gold Tunjos and they are unique and beautiful and in much demand. Needless to say, bone Tunjos are extremely rare.

Three Aztec pipes were sold at Sotheby's auction on March 23rd, 2013 for $12,890. None were as near as nice as this one or even the other three I have for sale here. Original red paint covers much of the polished black-brown surface and eyes and bill are outlined by incision. Ducks were associated with rain gods...

A rear and ancient Pre Colombian quartz and green jade necklace. The long quartz beads average length is from 75 to 85 cementers in length. In the light you can see the painstaking drilling of the holes in the quartz.Two animals carved in the gree jade. See photos Age is over 2,000 years old. Length is 43 cm. Condition: one long quartz bead is broken otherwise in good condition.

Lot conisists of two large celts or axes, a drop-shape piece in grey stone, lightly rough and a triangular axe in green stone, finely polished, 1st. millenium BC.

Sizes: The grey axe 14,5 cm., the green one 12,7 cm.

Condition: Choice, a few minor chips, very nice patinas.
