This is a very nice bone fish hook found in Bracken County, Kentucky. It is 1 1/4" long. It is very well made with no damage. The point is sharp. It has beautiful patina.

Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta face fragment with large nose. Rare fragment from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. Hupa basket, California, in large size and in beautiful condition, with open gallery edge at top, a woven foot that enables it to sit flat, the sides decorated with zig zag designs in cream color with dark edge on bottom band. Measures 10 7/8" on one side, 10 1/8" on the other and is roughly 4 3/4" high (a bit higher on one side than the other). This Hell Gap point is made from beautiful agatized petrified wood. Found in northern Colorado. It is 2 1/8" long. The very end of the base has been snapped off in ancient times, but it does not detract.

This impressive boxlike purse was hand beaded and constructed as a souvenir by a member of the Iroquois nation at the turn of the century. A Veracruz stone yoke circa 250-950 AD in characteristic U-form, the thick implement with polished surface except for the outside. A flat top, the sides tapering slightly downwards. The end of each arm is relief- carved with an ornate pattern of complementary bands and scrolling plumage-like motifs. Remains of a red pigment in a speckled grey-light green stone.
