A rare and exceptionally large Iron lock with key, from a gate or massive door, South-Germany, Late renaissance period, 16th. century.

Interesting lot of Celtic La Tene culture bronze items, c. 4th.-2nd. century BC.

Greek terracotta figurine portraying a nursing woman. Such a depiction is considered a kourotrophor: a protector or nurturer of children. She is wearing a chiton and a veil and she is nursing a naked boy. Likely Etruscan or Sicilian, ca. 5th.-4th. century BC.

This is japanese excellent antique Tsutsugaki textile hemp furoshiki meiji era .Furoshuki, a technique of tsutsugaki that excels in hemp, is very rare. Very beautiful. A fine carved boxwood figure depicting Avalokitesvara, Guanyin Pusa in Chinese, the Bodhisattva of Compassion reclining on an armrest, holding a scripture roll in one hand. Well carved from a single piece of boxwood, good details and fine patina. H 20 x L 13 x W 9 cm ca. Condition: minor repairs/filled and minor losses as well as a few thin drying cracks. Uchishiki which is one of temple decorations put under the altar. This one is made of "hangiri" (pants), which is one of No costumes. It is made of blue ground silk satin with "hiun and uroko" (flying cloud and fish scale) design with gold treads. It has kanji letters "Meiji 5 (1873)"in the back, however it is the date when it was dedicated, so the age of the cloth might have been from late Edo period. Real gold thread is woven for the design...

A stunningly and intricately carved genuine QING DYNASTY WOODEN CHINESE WEDDING BED HEADBOARD. Good condition. Size: height 150 cm x width 227 cm (59" x 90").

Diameter approximately 46 cm. Few soft chips at the rim. All colors are original, still intact and nothing extra. Good handwriting and different from the same type. Very special and rare. More pictures are available. In good condition.

Attractive black-glazed oinochoe with trefoil spout and arched handle. The neck area decorated with grape wine and tendril motifs suspended from bands. The applied white color partially ‘gilded’ with a yellow ochre wash.
Fingerprints around the foot indicate that the vase was dipped into the glaze.
