The stand and bowl of this vessel were cast separately and permanently joined at the time of production. The lid is topped with a lingzhi fungus. The entire piece is covered in an old brownish patina and small areas of verdigris. The lid fits very well into the grooved rim of the bowl. The lingzhi is cast as part of the lid, and has some areas of orange-ish patina. The interior of the stand is dark gray with some verdigris and the bowl interior is also a grayish tone...

1930's Chinese Jadeite Carved Pendant Flower & Bird with Silver backing

The overall length is 1.9 inches (4.9 cm). The jadeite is 1.6 inches (4 cm) long by 1.05 inches (2.6 cm) wide and 0.16 inch (0.4 cm) thick. It is 10.6 gram.

It has tarnished silver, inclusions at the jadeite, surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos.

Guangxu mark and period, 1875-1908

The interior is well-painted in various colors of overglaze enamels, having a central Shou medallion surrounded by four auspicious characters rendered in gold with red outlines on a white ground. The reverse is painted with two flower sprays over the clear glaze which covers all but the exposed footring. The six-character Guangxu mark is painted in two vertical lines in dark red enamel. This is an exquisite satsuma cup and saucer set. The work is very finely detailed and difficult to pick up with the camera. Saucer is 4 1/4 inches across. Cup is 3 3/4 inches across at the handle. Both pieces in nearly mint condition and both are signed Matsumoto Hozan.

Extremely rare and probably unique porcelain and gilt copper ewer.The body of the object is a Japanese porcelain covered pot of the 2nd part of the 17th century around 1660 coming from Arita of the Kakiemon kilns but maybe from the Yambeta kiln. The pot was transformed in Europe into a teapot by the addition of a handle supporting a horse and a spout forming a dragon in gilded and embossed copper, the lid is formed by a swan. A beautiful Ming Wanli blue and white large kendi (pouring vessel). this kendi has globular body with tubular neck, disc shape mount and globular spout, decorate with under glaze blue galloping horse, flower spray and blue base continuous flower motif on the shoulder, Buddhist symbols and peach motif at the spout, neck with raised leaves motif.

Large and impressive silver 'temple' ring, Viking settlers from Scandinavia (Kingdom of the Rus or Kievan Rus), present day Ukraine, c. 800-1000 AD.

Beautiful and still wearable temple ring, in solid silver, which consists of a bow ring with a loop and three elaborately made knobbed beads. These rings were worn from a headband around the temples by Viking Rus women, hence the name Temple rings.
