This pair of porcelain and ormolu bronze mounts was produced in France in the 1860s or 1870s. They measure 16 inches tall and are 7 1/2 inches across the figural handles. The ground color is celeste blue. The bronze bases are ornate and very Victorian. The lion's paw feet connect with elaborate scrolls. The handles have putti playing musical instruments. Hand painted panels of young lovers strolling in country landscapes are portrayed in fine detail and soft coloring...

Pair of Victorian Classical sterling silver sauceboats. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1883. Each: Rectilinear body with lip spout and curved corners on same raised foot; high-looping leaf-covered handle with ribbed cast volute scroll terminal between scrolls and incised volute scroll mount. Repousse rinceaux band between molded lines. Stylized egg-and-dart rims. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 7370 (first produced in 1883), and director’s letter M (1873-91)...
This late 19th century Chinese overlay Peking glass vase is 10 ¾ inches high and 5 ½ inches on the widest part. It depicts a well known Chinese story “The goddess of Luo River.” A groom drives a dragon cart over the river while the goddess Luo sits in the cart. Two maids are following them. The workmanship is precise and elegant. It is in excellent condition.

An Arita blue & white porcelain dish decorated with a pavilion and poetry, an equestrian and servant in the foreground. The dish is moulded with a shallow ‘rinka’ edge. The back is plain and has three spur marks within the foot-rim.
An identical dish is illustrated in the Shibata Collection Vol.4, #303 where it is dated to 1770~1800.
Approximately 17.8 cm diameter. The dish has some light wear from normal use but is otherwise in fine condition...
Japanese Paulownia or Kiri wood small Tea, Cha Tansu, Ca. Meiji period, late 1890-1900, 24 1/2" high, 24" wide, 12" deep, 2 sliding doors on top inlaid with Mother of Pearl Plum flowers with low relief Lacquered tree branches above 3 small drawers, one large drawer above 2 drawers in lower section, black iron mounted around corners, leaf design on handles. The condition is as used condition directly imported from Japan, no restoration work was done on this small Cha Tansu.

Description: Wonderful Eastern European elaborately decorated repousse silver Dish, composed of two compartment, 2 emerald cut inset stones at each end,
fitted with removable insert having loop handles. Size: 10-1/2" in length and 7-3/4" wide and 6-1/4" high. It bears two illegible mark on the base.

Chinese tapered A-line cabinet, made of jichimu (chicken-wing) wood, nice lines and simple elegance, interior has two shelves, lower shelf has two small built in drawer also made of jichimu wood, circa 1920's).

Handsome gilt bronze figure of a reclining dog (some variety of hound) mounted as a paperweight on a butterscotch marble base. The statue retains its original gilt surface and has achieved a very pleasing patina. The marble base is richly colored with gray veining.
Origin: France, circa 1850. Condition: some flaking to bottom edges of marble base, no cracks, no damage to bronze figure. Size: 4-1/4" x 2-3/8" x 2-1/4" tall.
Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368~1615) 3-color glazed chests (or trunks). Part of the body of each piece shows an iridescent sheen. There are a few chips on both chests. They are 4 ½ inches tall, 5 ¼ inches long and 3 inches wide.

Carved to fit the hand perfectly, this Japanese ivory page turner offers elegant design combined with function. The artists skill becomes even more evident when the page turner is held. In excellent condition save for one small shallow chip about 2-3 mm, see last photo, very hard to see, but can be felt if you run your finger slowly along the blade. The page turner measures 18.5" x 1.25".
