A pine tree and fruit tree grow on the hillside behind the crane. Fine gold maki-e lacquer with dense gold nishiji on a black lacquer ground. Architectural element carved in the shape of a Hindu deity head wearing a formal cap. Nicely patinated wood, with old carpenter nails still inserted in some areas. India, early 18th century. Height: 26 cm. The piece is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Abrasion due to great age, partly chipped nose, otherwise good condition.

Width approximately 13.5 cm (across the handles). There are traces of 3 holes, already patched at the bottom. More pictures are available.

Six Victorian Classical sterling silver goblets. Made by Charles Stuart Harris in London, 1884-9. Medici urn bowl with bellied bottom and flared rim. Spool shaft with flange flowing into raised foot. Chased and engraved garlands and two leaf and cattail wreath frames of which 1 vacant and 1 with applied coat of arms. Super fancy and capacious for ceremony or dining. A Famille Rose Sauce Boat of European silver shape. Decorated with sprays of flowers tied with gilt ribbons. Qianlong C1750. Length: 8 3/8″ (21.3 cm). Condition: good condition, there is glaze frit to the base of the handle and to a tip on the rim with some wear to the gilding in the interior.

A large Hindu 12th Century stone fragment with Sanskrit inscription. Extremely heavy, displayed on a custom made iron stand.

Square shaped seal with incised design representing a lion and a deer facing each other, surmounted by a five character inscription. Indus Valley civilisation, ca. 3000 B.C. Height: 42 mm. Length: 46 mm. Slight abrasion, otherwise very good condition. A rare seal of this type.

A japanese antique natural indigo dyed cotton tsutsugaki furoshiki from the Edo period.（1800-1867) This family crest is rare. It's thick, and this cotton is hand-spun. This one has some stains on the white part. There is a small hole here, but there is no big damage. Since this was used to wrap things, there is a part where the cloth is slightly stretched. Size::length 140cm x 130cm (55.1" x 51.1")

This is a famous Coalport Porcelain pattern, known as 'money tree'. The colors are bold, reflecting the attempt by the Coalport factory to compete with Chinese and Japanese porcelain imports and to cater to the English love for Oriental colors and patterns, during the Regency period.

A finely cast iron lion en passant with modeling in the animalier style screw mounted on rectangular base. Very good condition with slight oxidation and minor blemishes to patina, mostly on base. We date this sculpture to mid 19th C., unmarked. Length: 11 1/4"

Wonderful Ca. 1930 Kyoto-yaki ceramic bowl signed by Nishigawa in a signed original box. Inscripted on the box is the word Nishiki-ga meaning patterned after the obis woven in the Nishiki weaving area of Kyoto. 13cm tall x 28cm in diameter. Great condition.

A rare Arita export dish decorated in Kakiemon style with a pair of Hoo birds, (Fenghuang or Pheonixes) amongst rocks and flowers, Peonies and Chrysanthemums. The rim decorated with a Bird and vine pattern arabesque. Identical dishes exist painted in this pattern but enamelled in the classic Kakiemon palette. A large silver plate bronze mirror, Cambodia, Khmer Empire, ca. 11th.-12th. century AD.

Large and with a beautiful silver patina, uncleaned with patches of green oxidation on the grey silver surface. It features a perfect circular form and a recessed side with concentric incised circles tracing the borders. Objects like this one were signs of prestige, owned by the wealthy and elite in Khmer society.

Antique Chinese large porcelain jar of a famille rose glaze, with slender tapering body, tall neck, and dramatically flared rim. The body is decorated by imagery of a seaside village with various people going about their daily lives; The neck with auspicious scholar's objects on a background of medallions, various flowers in bloom, and lotus petals towards the opening of the mouth. Daoguang mark on foot.

Suna-Gohon (sand is added to the clay) tea ware was fired at the Japanese consular office in Busan in the early Edo period (1603-1868) and sent to the Tokugawa family and other daimyo. The kiln was closed in 1718.
