Exceptional Type 10 Mezcala Figure. 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" CA. 1500-300 B.C. This very mint gray stone figure has no modern day chips or marks, it does have the classic upper top of the head fracture area. This figure has a very nice plumpness to it. It comes with a custom made black metal stand. Mineral and root marks over all.
Very Nice Pregnant Jalisco Figure, San Juanito Style. 8" x 4 3/8" x 3". CA. 200 B.C. to 500 A.D. Early type with coffee bean eyes, wearing ear tassels. Painted with a light brown slip and red skirt or pants. Small chip to nose and stabilized hairline crack in the crouch area, otherwise intact.

This traditional tribal comb would be worn for festival by Yao ethnic minority woman of Southern China. The comb was carved from sections of bone which are held together with a twining technique. The bone sections are tatooed with traditional Yao design pattern. The comb alone is 5.5 inches long and 3 inches wide. The combined length with the pompom and tassels is almost 12 inches long.
Chinese canton enamel box with slightly domed lid. The sides and top finely painted with scholars in landscape setting in famille rose palette. Interior with turquoise enamel. Condition: good - considering the delicate nature of enamel, rim of box with two very small retouchings and and sides of lid with three tiny enamel losses and few stress lines. A pair of Yixing or Zi Sha tea bowls, the interior and the base glazed in turquoise, the exterior with four characters in white glaze. Both with impressed key fret border. China, c 1900. Height "2/5 cm and "2/4,7 cm Condition: a minimal glaze flake to one bowl.
DESCRIPTION: A long, six-sided Chinese ink stick with nicely detailed dragon and phoenix curling about the surface. Short, impressed Chinese inscriptions are found on two sides. One of the four treasures of the scholar's studio, ink sticks (or cakes) would be carefully ground by the scholar and mixed with water on an inkstone to paint calligraphy or scrolls with a brush. This black ink stick is in good antique condition. DIMENSIONS: 6 1/2" long (16.5 cm) x 1 1/4" diameter (3.2 cm).
