A lovely Venini “A Canne” Vase with alternating canes of Straw Yellow, Amber and Crystal glass. This large blown glass vase measures 11 ½ inches (29.2 cm) Tall, and tapers from a diameter of 5 inches (12.7 cm) at the base to 7 ¾ inches (19.7cm) at the top edge. Top edge is slightly wavy, and the base has a polished pontil, one clear round Venini label and one “vetri murano” label to the side. No chips, cracks or repairs. Signed on the base venini/italia/84

A genuine Georgian black basalt 6-1/4" across and 2-3/4" high bowl by Wedgwood. In the unadorned black basalt matte finish ware, this bowl is stamped WEDGWOOD 6 with a four unit "quote mark" near the edge. This is a finely potted Song dynasty (960 – 1276AD) Yaozhou Persimmon hexafoil glazed cup. It has a gently rounded sides rising from a straight foot to an everted hexafoil rim, covered overall in a lustrous with a scattered iridescent persimmon glaze. The lustrous persimmon glaze, with its thick glaze flow stopping just short of the foot to reveal a white clay body. Overall, it is a very beautiful piece.

Description: A decent lotus-bud bowl from Jun kiln was in beautiful look. In a tint of the famous sky-blue glaze, the elegant bowl was shaped at the foot ring with regular wall. Developed with darkened colour which was caused by kiln firing, the unglazed foot ring was preserved with obvious burial earth. Light incursions of pinhead holes were found on the surface near the bottom. In the cavetto, the glaze was in milky-white blue when some residues were left for authentication...

Decorated with a qilin in the center and floral scroll in the exterior. W=19 cm. Early Ming 1368-1398. Condition :Fault firing, no chips, cracks or hairlines and free from restorations.
