It is old Haskell with the horseshoe mark (visible in the enlargement) placing it most probably in the 1940's. Expands to fit any size.

Late Meiji to early Showa (1895-1930) period Satsuma covered bowl. Measures 8 3/4" diameter and is 5 1/4" high with the cover on. Decorated in a moriage pattern with young boys (Karako) playing at various pastimes, highly detailed painting interspersed with raised white moriage dots. The interior of the bottom and the lid are both decorated with an elaborate scene of birds flying amongst a profusion of flowers. Excellent condition with no cracks or chips or restorations.

Using a Circa 1890 Art Nouveau Filigree Found Half Buckle, Mimi has made this necklace by adding unfinished brass, Aqua and Iridescent Blue Black Czech Cut Glass Beads to create a very unique set. Need it be said that there is Not another like this!?

The necklace is 13 1/2" around the inside and is 3/4" wide. The bracelet is 7" around the inside and is also 3/4" wide.

Contemporary American designer Karen Bachman has created these elegant lucite bracelets. The oval one (1i)has an inner lining of gold and silver leaf and it is 10" around the outside and 5 1/2" around the inside. The opening is 1 1/4". It is 1 3/4" high and its wall is 3/4". Her signature is etched on the edge. The fluted bracelet (2ix) has an inner lining of gold and copper leaf and is 10" around the outside, 5 1/2" around the inside with an opening of 1 1/4". It is 1 1/8 wide with a 1" wall...

Marked Stamped: "LEONORE DOSKOW HANDMADE STERLING" Pin Brooch in the shape of what looks like Cinderella's Pumpkin, Posey Pin or Tulip shape. Alas, it has a booboo! Thus the low price. This is a gorgeous custom made, handmade moonstone and genuine ruby pin set in sterling. It is c.1940 and measures 3 1/4" long including the dangling moonstone,and 2 1/2" diameter. All of the stones are individually prong set. The moonstones are clear, blue and beautiful. All stones are in fine condition and original. This is a fabulous coat or blazer pin and the moonstone lover should be absolutely DELIGHTED with this brooch.

Smashing, LARGE mixed metals belt buckle in the form of a fish by Antonio Pineda. Although several of the Taxco silversmiths worked with mixed metals, I have never seen a piece before in mixed metals by Antonio so I would think this belt buckle to be quite rare. Very mid-century modern and minimalist in design, it is beautiful and whimsical. It measures 5" by 2" and is in fine original condition. Comprised of sterling silver, copper, brass and a black enamel eye, it weighs 79 grams...

Great looking minimalist ebony and sterling earrings by American Modernist jeweler Ed Levin.C. 1950, these are screwbacks and hang 1 3/8" long. The ebony disk is 3/4" diameter. Signed LEVIN STERLING on the back of one of the disks in block letters. They are wonderful.

Sam Kramer is considered the most significant Modernist jeweler in the U.S. He opened his studio/shop in 1939 in Greenwich Village. Kramer's jewelry was inspired by Surrealist art and a medium for his own kind of expression.
