Offered is a wonderful, seldom-seen, circa 1910's, tin wind-up, Black Porter toy manufactured by Ferdinand Strauss of New York City, New York.

This Black Porter Pushing A Wheelbarrow amazingly still retains his original, red ribbon neckerchief. The windup mechanism is intact and holds a full wind...the man's legs are a little sluggish after 90+ years, but the toy does work.

This very difficult-to-find, Black Memorabilia toy measures 6" long, is approximately 2 3/4" wide and is 6" tall...

Pair of Joseon dynasty or later Korean wood wedding ducks with subtly modeled feathers covered in layers of oiled stained paper, the heads separately carved and inserted by their long necks into a hole in the body. Each has a typical rectangular recess on the base. The heads have circular eyes and slits in the long beaks. These were traditionally presented by the groom to the parents of the future bride and were displayed during the wedding...

This is a pearl, enamel, stone, and metal brooch/pendant, featuring pearls and round-shaped green stones, with enamel accents, completed by scrolled wire-work, pinstem and catch, and hinged bail. 1 1/2 in diameter approx. and in excellent condition.

Description:

A stylized Ruyi was rarely found by cast bronze quality.
In unique and beautiful plum flowers and branches form, the bronze Ruyi was put firmly on a stand as a treasured item or on a desk as a nice brush-rest.
It was in quite good size which was rarely found too.
The darken patina was yielded due to age when the overall condition is perfect.

Date: Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century.

English William Moorcroft art pottery cabinet vase with hibiscus decoration, together with a small Clematis bowl or dish. 20th century. Vase measures 3 7/8 in. ht. Dish is 3 1/2 in. in diameter. Retaining their original paper labels. Excellent condition.

I am thrilled to present this small wonder of Matilde Poulat's, an early hair comb with the maestra's signature repousse and bezel set jewels. In this case, the stones are one amethyst and two faux turquoise cabs positioned in a pyramid shape right at the comb's center. Gorgeous patina, no flaws noted, with the actual plastic comb in very good shape (I believe also original to the piece), this is a treasure to be displayed and enjoyed...

A small dish, heavily potted, covered in a beautiful celadon glaze producing the crackles of the Geyao type glaze. The recessed base is glazed while the foot rim is dressed with an iron brown wash. Periode : Qianlong (1736-1795) Century Diameter : 12 cm. Condition : Perfect, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations.

A vintage round double link sterling silver charm bracelet with applied textured hearts from the 1970s. This 7-1/8" bracelet is 7/16" wide, it has a stamped STERLING with an H in a triangle maker's mark (for F.A. Hermann, Framingham, Mass. 1908-77), and it has a box clasp with safety loop. It weighs 12.8 grams and it is in fairly good condition with no breaks, losses, repairs, but some of the loops are slightly bent out of alignment...

Rare Tall Chinese Six Dynasties Painted Pottery Warrior (AD 220 - 589)

This very rare and interesting pottery figure of a warrior was made during the Six Dynasties period (AD 220 - 589). It is solid (as opposed to being hollow as are most ancient Chinese pottery figures) and made from a dense pottery that has been painted in red, pink, black and white pigments, very good traces of which still remain. The figure stands to attention with hands clasped across his chest...

Early 20th c. Chinese silver and carved jade bracelet, this is a classic export piece wit its floral enamels having an almost Art Nouveau air about them. Executed in black, cobalt blue and iron red the florals look like irises to me and they are definitely an unusual motif when it comes to vintage Chinese pieces of the same period. The jadeite plaque that adorns the central link is held in position with prongs...

This is a heavy sterling charm bracelet with the zodiac symbol Libra charm by Margot De Taxco. The design and construction of the link bracelet is exceptional and it is not often that one can find that the actual original bracelet to the charm.
