Vermont Victorian oak fireplace mantelpiece and overmantel. Circa 1880-1900. Size: 60 inches width x 90 5/8 inches height x 12 inches depth. This ornate fireplace with mirror back was removed from a Victorian residence in Rutland, Vermont. It is entirely original and includes the mantelpiece with carved floral corner spandrels and transom, which features a 36 inches height x 41 inches fireplace opening...

An Arts and Crafts period 14Kt yellow gold and diamond cluster ring set with nine old-mine diamonds. The center stone is larger and is surrounded by eight smaller diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 1.0 Ct.

Large early Matilde Poulat "MATL" cross c. 1945. It measures 3 3/4" long and 2 3/4" wide and is in beautiful original condition with all stones intact. The amethysts are deep purple and the coral a vibrant red. Signed with her early signature and registration number. This is an exceptional cross.

A very rare handmade sterling and center bezel set oval malachite bracelet by the American Arts & Crafts workshop Chicago Art Silver Shop. In 1912, after moving from their native Hungary, Edmund Boker and Ernest Gould formed the Chicago Art Silver Shop. Both had worked as silversmiths in a Budapest factory making objects for European royal families. The bracelet is a bangle that is 3/4" wide in the front, narrowing to 3/8" in the back and is 8" around in the inside...

A vintage 14k yellow gold half eternity or half hoop ring with twelve channel set genuine diamonds c1970s. This classic size 7 ring is all in 14k yellow gold and the diamonds are ~3 points each for a total of ~36 points (measured in band by gauge). This elegant low profile diamond wedding band is stamped 14K and A76, and it weighs 2.0 grams. It is just under 1/8" wide. Because of the number of diamonds, it actually looks like a full eternity band when being worn...

Beautifully sculpted from one piece of wood, this horse and rider sail effortlessly over a fence. The sculpture measures 16" high, approximately 19" from end of board to tip of horses nose, and the wood base is 13 1/4" x 4 1/4". The two back legs are one piece, just to support the body of the horse and rider. Every bit of the surface is slightly textured, like the hammer marks on silver, and gives the piece a lovely sheen and patina...

Undoubtedly inspired by Margot de Taxco's Koi Fish line, a pair of early Antonio Reina repousse earrings showing playful fish among stylized silver waves. I can't get over the detail in this set - just note the depth of the repoussage, the detail in the scales and the hand-hammering in the waves themselves to render them three-dimensional. The earrings are 1 5/8" long by 15/16" wide and weigh 8.4 grams (for the set)...

A pair of gold screens with bold shishi on genuine gold leaf. It is signed Miyauchi Gohogan Shinsai Fujiwara Morimichi sei and stamped Hogan Morimitsu no In. Each panel is 37-1/4 x 68-1/2 inches (94.5 x 174 cm). The screens have been restored, with some old repairs visible. These appear to be remounted from what is likely a different composition, possibly a set of fusuma doors...

A Stunning combination of works by mother and son Koyama Kiyoko (1936-present) and Koyama Kenichi (1961-1992), both in the original signed wooden boxes. The Tokkuri, by Kiyoko, is of bulbous form decorated with slips of green glaze used sparingly around the neck. The terracotta body is fired to a deep amber on one side, the bright orange clay indicative of Shigaraki showing through on the other...

Extra long and wrought in hand-hammered silver a pair of studio made modernist dangle earrings, each one adorned with two coral beads. Signed "Phyllis", a listed mid-century artist whose exact identity is still contested (see Marbeth Schon, Modernist Jewelry 1930-60, p. 104 and 262) this is an impressive set, eye-catching in its formidable minimalism, with fantastic oxidation and an almost organic feel to it. A very unusual huanghuali scholar's container made of one solid piece of wood. There is no plug at the base. These types of designs are very desirable for collectors of huanghuali pieces. A most desirable signed Matl from when Matilde Poulat was designing in her shop. This necklace has a 16.75 in. wearable length with a width of .80 of an inch. The head is the larger size with varied tones of large blue turquoise stones. Old Matl is so hard to find and this design is seen mostly in gold wash over silver. This one is all silver.
