One of my favorite "less celebrated" Taxco artists, AE Heart's hallmark (he signs his initials AE in a heart-shaped M) can also be seen on Estela Popowski and Rancho Alegre pieces. I find his work to be masterful and his jewelry, oftentimes based on Margot de Taxco and Los Castillo designs, are always exceptionally well crafted and have very good weight. The "fruity" bracelet offered here is, I believe, his own creation...

The most stunning example of Mozaico Azteca jewelry I have ever seen, this necklace is literally a dream-come-true! There is not one thing about it that I don't love; the color of the stones used is saturated and richly varied; the silver work is substantial - not a flimsy piece, that is for sure; and the way it hugs the neck and sits perfectly in place is beyond description. This is a true choker size necklace, ideal for smaller to medium sizes. Its wearable length is 14 3/4" and its width go...

Excellent craftsmanship by Remy with a gorgeous stone that is almost 2in. tall. The silver is thick and heavy at 76 grams total. This vintage Mexican treasure will fit up to a 7in. wrist. I have shown it with a necklace also listed on my site. There are rings to add a safety chain on the bracelet. There are no dents or damage and the huge stone is smooth to the finger and exhibits natural matrix. This is a great choice and certainly will gain compliments.

Having justly earned a place in the pantheon of those artists whose work changed the way we design and think about silver jewelry, Matilde Poulat created a whole school of silversmiths who emulated her work not only when she was alive and active but even today, in the so called "post-1980" period of Mexican jewelry making. Based on Matl's signature Palomas motif, this is a big, impressive, nicely made bracelet. Coral, amethyst and tiny turquoise beads stud the repousse and wire work ornam...
