Description:
A Sancai stem cup was well mold in decent shape.
It was glazed with characteristic tri-colors on a chalk-feel body clay.
The vessel was from the idea of the dated metal wares of Tang periods which influenced by the Persian cultures.

Date: Tang Dynasty, 618-907.

A classic book piece for William Spratling, the "tulip" brooch comes in several configurations and is carved out of various stones, the most usual being amethyst. Here the large bloom is set in a less frequently seen repousse frame that consists of deeply chased foliage and an overlaid curlicued tendril. I also love the color variations and depth in the pink quartz stone. Very architectural and quite impressive with a smoothness that makes you want to hold it.....

Here is perhaps the most dramatic piece that I have ever held. Huge and magnificent and if that is not enough it is in excellent condition without one dent or ding. The drop is 3.5in. long and 2.5in. across. The peacocks are 2.75in. tall that go around the neck. The repousse is thick and with great dimension weighing 146 grams. I have a photo showing a "slice" shot to give an idea of how dimensional the piece is. Hallmarked 980 Taxco as shown...

Fred Davis pieces are rare and these amethyst swirl earrings are very special. Properly hallmarked with fd and on the other earring under screw back with parts sticking out saying MEXICO SILVER. The length is 1.25in. long and .75in. wide. They weigh 9.1 grams. No dents or damage just beautiful condition. Shown with the gorgeous bracelet already listed on my site.
