Fine Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Qingbai Glazed Porcelain Bowl

This attractively-shaped monochrome glazed porcelain bowl with flared rim was made during the 13th / 14th Century (Late Song - Yuan Dynasty). It is coated in a glossy finely-crackled transparent pale greenish-blue qingbai glaze save for the inner surface of the small foot that remains unglazed.

Fabulously chic and very big vintage French black tested Bakelite drop earrings. Circa 1950 or 1960. The open wire clip earring backs and filigree findings are French. With aged goldtone metal. Tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome. True opaque black Bakelite; did not start out as another color. From a Philadelphia estate which had other French costume jewelry.

Georgian sterling silver table spoon in the very scarce Onslow or Scroll pattern. London, c.1765, maker's mark rubbed. Size: 8 1/8 inches length. Bowl in excellent condition with no dings or wear to the tip of the bowl. A family armorial with a Baron's coronet is engraved on the reverse of the handle. The cast scroll finial is attached to the stem with a scarf joint as was the practice on genuine examples of the period in this pattern. Weight: 1.88 troy ounces...

Persian, Zandieh Dagger and scabbard. The Zand dynasty (formally known as the Zandieh dynasty) ruled southern and central Iran (1750–1794) in the 18th century. The hilt and scabbard decorated with animal and floral pattern, each side of hilt and scabbard bears car-touche of Zandieh prince and princess, lavishly decorated with gold inlaid. Large wooden prayer beads from Lhasa with nine glass bead spacers and two leather counters with ten silver rings each ending with silver inlaid mountain coral and turquoise.The wooden ones are made from the wood of the Bodhi tree where Buddha received his enlightenment. Early 20th c. Chinese silver and carved jade bracelet, this is a classic export piece wit its floral enamels having an almost Art Nouveau air about them. Executed in black, cobalt blue and iron red the florals look like irises to me and they are definitely an unusual motif when it comes to vintage Chinese pieces of the same period.
