Description:

A Ding-Typed porcelain censer was applied with darken brownish nearing black glaze.
Well crackled, the glaze was reflected retrospective sheen for verifying the enduring age.
By shallow profile and stand with three nicely mold feet, the censer was added with two arched loops on the mouth rim.
The paste revealed inside the censer and under the bottom was in light-buff tint and was in soft –feel quality.

Very early hand crafted sterling silver pin signed LOS CASTILLO TAXCO MEXICO STERLING. Pin measures 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. Antonio Castillo was the head of Los Castillo and was married to the woman who would come to be known as Margot De Taxco. She often designed pieces for Los Castillo before striking out on her own. An exquisite sterling and moonstone bracelet by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. A have never seen this Antonio design before and believe it to be quite rare. There are moonstones bezel set within each of the 10 links of the bracelet. This bracelet is solid at 84 grams and measures 6 3/4" around in the inside when clasped. It is 3/4" wide. Beautiful original condition and appropriately hallmarked for Antonio Pineda as shown. A great addition to any Mexican Silver collection.

We do not find this old hallmark of Martinez very often but when we do it is special. This is a rare one with amethyst stones and carved silver dangles with repousse beads. The over all length is 19in. with the chain and just the links are 16in. The height is 1 3/8ths inches making it a bold treasure. Martinez is known for his stone work and all of these amethyst match very well with some looking lighter depending on the direction of the camera flashes. No chips or damage to the silver or stone...
