This Suanzhi wood stand was in strong and firm structure while enduring old patina was preserved well on the surface.
By an adequate size, it was used being put on the table for displaying bronze censer or other curiosities.
A very minute crack line was on the surface board. It didn't penetrate the board and was unnoticiable.

Retro design is present in this simple yet elegant amethyst ring set in 14Kt yellow gold. The 18 X 13 millimeter faceted emerald cut amethyst weighs approximately 10Ct. The shank has a scroll like design on either side of the amethyst. The ring is a size 6 and can easily be sized.

William Spratling's largest chain design is a first phase hallmark and one inch tall. Being 8in. long it is suitable for a man or a woman. The fit is like a bangle for a woman and the hook clasp does takes up some of the wearable length. There is a curve/groove running down it's center with great dimension which is accentuated with the solid silver being 7mm thick. The color is beautiful with almost pure silver of at least 980 silver weighing 130 grams...

A very rare Chinese Nanmu scholar's table chest. Nanmu wood has been used in China since the Han dynasty and is very prized by collectors as it is difficult to find. I feel that it is rarer than huanghuali. I have only come across one Nanmu scholar's chest in all the years that I have been collecting. Size: L.34cm. W.17cm. H.6cm. Age: Mid Qing or earlier. This amethyst ring is an iconic Antonio Pineda design, shown on p. 154 of Silver Seduction. It's a mid-century piece, collector quality, with perfectly matched amethyst cylinders which are channel set in a thick and chunky 970 silver setting. The stones are perfectly matched in color, and this ring can be worn by either a man or a woman. Measures 7 1/4 on a ring sizer, although because of the thickness and width of the band it will fit slightly smaller...

A Huali wood covered box was preserved in a very good condition.
By sound structure and well track-moved lid, the wood box was yielded with charming brownish patina on the surface inside and out.
Darken hue was accumulated in portions due to enduring age.
In quite good size, it was used as a storage box for scholar’s utensils.

Description: A black-glazed water dropper was from famous Ding kiln.
Characteristically the body clay revealed was in dense and greasy feel quality.
It was kept in perfect condition when some incursion was found on the surface.

A fine Japanese Rimpa school lacquer box. Grasses and floral decoration in gold lacquer on a black ground. A once silver or pewter tone crescent moon adorns the cover - indicating a night scene. Original silk brocade lining. Edo period. A fair bit of distress - mostly on corners and edges. An early box and a promising restoration project in the right hands. Length: 6 1/2 in. Spratling often used the butterfly in his jewelry and object designs. His rare bezel set amethyst and sterling silver tray measures 3 3/4" X 3 3/4" and weighs 72 grams. The piece is in beautiful condition. Spratling's hallmarks and eagle 30 impressed on the reverse.
