Fine LARGE Chinese Han Dynasty Glazed Hu Jar with Hunting Scene (with Oxford TL Test)

This superb and impressive pottery jar (hu) was made during the Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220). It is made from a fairly high-fired reddish pottery and coated in a particularly attractive streaky green and finely-crackled glaze, the colour of which varies according to its thickness...

A beautifully potted octagonal Jun-Yao bowl from the Song Dynasty (960 – 1276). The colour of the bowl is more to the purplish side than blue hue that is shown in the picture. This is due to the light reflection that throws out the blue colour. The foot stand is burnt to light russet brown in colour with a small chip.

Some minor abrasion. A single chip to the stand of the bowl (Picture 6). There are no crack, restoration or repair...

Very strong, outstanding design in this mid-century sterling pin by Taxco artist Sigi Pineda. Many design elements of shapes and overlapping planes, this three dimensional pin measures 1 3/4" by 1 7/8". It is in fine original condition and hallmarked for vintage Sigi as shown in the photo. This piece is the kind of design for which Sigi is best known.
