A rare large piece of Edo period Fushina Yaki pottery in the form of a parallelogram shaped box decorated on all sides with landscapes, including what is likely a view of Matsue castle, home of the Matsudaira clan. On hte lid cranes soar between garden rock formations. Inside a SEa Turtle, said to live 1000 years, occupies the center. Called a Jikiro, these types of large containers were used for serving and storing prepared foods...

Rare sterling silver brooch designed & signed in 1942 by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Pin measures 3 1/4" X 2". Exquisite hand hammered in great depth repousse' this piece weighs 48 grams. Fully signed with Spratling's early 1940's hallmarks on the back of pin. The design represents, in great detail, the head of the mythical Quetzalcoatl feathered serpent. Beautiful condition with no dents or dings. Gorgeous natural patina that only comes with age...
Four millefiore Decanters in graduated sizes of (with stoppers) 12 1/2 inches (32 cm), 11 inches (28 cm), 9 1/2 inches (24 cm) and 8 inches (20 cm). Attenuated necks with flared tops, matched millefiore stoppers. 3 bottles have Koscherak Brothers (KB) import labels and 3 have red/gold "Made in Murano Italy" labels, the labels can be seen in the photographs. No chips, cracks or repairs to any of the pieces. Acid matte finish to the bottles. Circa 1970's
Dating from around the 1940's this is a great little Goyard Hat/Linen box! Showing minimal amount of wear for it's age. The case has a lift out tray and the original inner straps. The leather handle may have been replaced, but is in good useable condition. The back trim has two (2) minor areas of loss as shown in the photos. Sorry, there is no key. Dimensions of the case are 19 3/4 (50 cm) Long by 17 1/2 (44 cm) Deep by 14 (35 cm) Tall.

Chinese export porcelain bowl circa 1790 a beautiful example with hand painted floral sprays and a scalloped decorated rim. Measuring approx. 9 1/4 inches in diameter and
4 inches deep in excellent antique condition for a piece of its age with a couple of barely visible faint hairline stress cracks in the outside glaze probably from cooling in manufacturing and one minute flea bite on the outside rim (see pictures). A fine piece would be a nice addition to any collection.

The form is of a bamboo design and the diameter for the hand to go through is 2.5in. which is an average size that fits most. The width is 5mm. There appears to be a line on the top of the bangle but it is reflection from the lighting. It is a fine hand made bangle and a great addition to your collection.
Classy Mexican Deco silver and amethyst brooch signed by Fred Davis, there is something about the sculpturality of this piece that makes me think it might be a Valentin Vidaurreta design. It is not just the specific shape the amethyst flowers have been carved in that can be seen in signed Vidaurreta jewelry, it is mostly the bewitching rotundness of the silver bud that makes me think so...
A blue & white dish with flared rim and well balance potted, decorated at interior center with the foliated body of the Kui dragon, have two front legs, a nose like elephant’s trunk and mouth holding a leaf scroll. The sides cavetto with continuous five blossoms of chrysanthemum scroll, just unfortunately appear slight blur caused firing effect. Underside wall cavetto with continuously peony scrolls...
Golden threads are woven into a home for the large three-dimensional spider crawling over the scrolling edge of this caramel-colored dish dating from the Meiji era. It comes enclosed in an age darkened wooden box titled Akahada Kashibachi (Akahada Sweets dish). It is roughly 16 x 18 cm (6 x 7 inches) and in excellent condition. The clay is consistent with the sandy texture of Akahada, however the color is quite unusual.
Akahada Pottery began in the Momoyama period (1573-1603)...
