Wonderfully designed cuff bracelet by Henry Steig, a well known Modernist jewelry designer working in New York City in the 1950s. In 1950 he opened a New York City shop at 51st and First, and a summer store in Provincetown, Massachusetts. In 1955 he moved his NYC shop to 52nd and Lexington. The design of this ridgid bracelet is ingenious, as the opening fits over the bulb of your wrist for comfort. Signed "Henry Steig, sterling". Excellent condition.

It's very rare to come across any jewelry by the famous Hubert Harmon making these fanciful and unique Earrings or Ear Cuffs a real treasure. This classic jewel consists of a circle of gold, enameled in cobalt blue, with gold highlights. A 3-looped bow is interlaced through it, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and dropper. There are a couple very minor flaws in the enamel - invisible without magnification. It is stamped for 15kt gold, and the gold has that lovely rich color we rarely see these days. There is a place on the back where it looks as though someone made a repair, but of course it’s not visible when worn...

This yellow gold necklace is centered by a dark red garnet (probably a spessartite). Garnets are the birthstone for January, and were traditionally thought to keep travelers safe. The dangle is set with a blister pearl which has a mellow off-white color. There are 3 tiny seed pearls in the main setting. This colorful brooch depicts a red poppy in full bloom, with green leaves and buds. It was made by the well-known Bippart Griscomb & Osborn Company of Newark, New Jersey. Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. This very attractive heart shaped amethyst pendant is set in 14Kt white gold. The checker board faceted 12 X 12 millimeter prong set amethyst is surrounded by 59 single-cut diamonds set in two rows. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.30Ct. The height of the pendant is 1” with the bail, and the width is ¾”.

A vintage hand wrought modernist sterling pendant strung on a green silk cord by noted mid century jeweler, Mary Schimpff Webb, (1922-2019).

This Victorian Scottish sterling silver and agate kettle charm is hand engraved and inlaid with banded agate. It is a genuine mid 19th Century antique. This elegant 14Kt yellow gold band is set with 4 natural round faceted sapphires and 15 brilliant cut channel set diamonds. The stones create a pattern that goes ¾ of the way around and the band finished with a square shank. The approximate weight of the 4 sapphires is 0.25Ct, while the approximate total weight of the 15 diamonds is 0.30Ct. The band is a size 5 and can be sized within limits.

Being offered is a fine circa 1950 sterling silver necklace by Los Castillo, of Taxco, Mexico, heart shaped links decorated with natural stone inlay; tongue and box clasp.
