Gracefully crafted ornate open work silver ring stamped: STERLING DENMARK, 3 other marks and the maker’s mark of “M”, resembling the mark for Munksgaard – Faaborg or Faborg circa 1970? Has 'fingers' which hold the stone in place. Measures 3" long and 1 1/2" across. Has a secure rollover clasp and also a small bale so could be worn either as a brooch or on a chain. Silver gilt earrings from the years just after the French Revolution, with hallmarks used 1798 – 1809. “Poissarde” (fishmonger’s wife) model with hinges fastening in the front motif, in this case a faceted ball.
