Here is a nicely crafted mixed metal pin designed with stylized silver oak leaves, berries and vines applied to a curved copper plaque. The piece, which has some heft, is secured by a safety clasp and a strong pin stem. The metal surfaces bear a warm patina; the pin is marked on the back with an impressed W and Handwrought. It measures about 2 1/4 inches by 1 3/8 inches. Weight: 19.7 grams

Checked black and white clip on ceramic earrings, c 1960, unsigned and made by hand, probably Scandinavian. Concave shape and a light blue shade to the white. Height "1/2/ 2.2 cm. Condition: fine.

Made by Pegi Werkstätte, this bar pin feature three impressionistic enameled flowers in pink, blue and red, with green stems, on a dark blue background. It has a secure C-clasp on the back, and is made of a gilded base metal. The back is marked with the maker’s mark and the city, Duisberg, barely legible on the worn surface. The front enamel is in lovely condition, the colors bright, no cracking. The pin measures 2 3/8 inches long by about 7/8 inch wide.

A splendid, well made vintage 1950s crystal and rhinestone gold plated fly pin. Possibly Austrian, this unsigned pin measures 2-1/4" x 1-3/4" and it has gold plated filigree openwork "wings" and a safety catch. The stones include a huge faceted topaz coloured unfoiled crystal, champagne and cinnamon brown rhinestones and a teardrop cabochon crystal. This realistically modeled sterling pin was made by JewelArt. It features deep ridges enhanced by oxidation, and a stylized curled stem that ends in a bead of silver. It is of good quality with a secure safety clasp and the maker’s mark on the back. It measures 2 1/4 inches long by a little over 1 1/4 inches wide.

This Razza ram pin is gold tone metal with a very dimensional resin-like insert that is made to look like carved ivory. This Razza pin is in excellent condition. He is 1 7/8" x 2 1/8". This pin is hallmarked "Razza" in a rectangular cartouche.

This flower pin is well molded and nicely detailed, making an impressive statement. It is secured by a rollover clasp and appears to have been hardly worn. The back bears a maker's mark of what appears to be Dunez Originals. It is marked sterling and measures 3 ½ in. long by 2 in. wide. Weight: 15 grams

Also an embarrassment, since two gemologists can't determine what the stone or the metal might be. However, this is a very beautiful Egyptian Revival piece which ought to be vintage (or even antique) The enigmatic yellow stone does not appear to be glass and the metal tests as 10 k gold, but by this time uncertainty rules! The pin is 2 5/8" overall, and the decorative head is 7/8", so it's large enough to make a statement on your lapel. We think it's circa 1900, but are not sure...
