A stunning Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold pansy pin enameled in rich shades of dark plum, violet, cream and saffron. The jeweler used a matte enamel to suggest the velvety texture of pansy petals. Vintage 18K yellow gold dangle earrings with cabochon teardrop shaped emeralds. Emeralds are set in 18K yellow gold. 14K pierced French back closure (hallmarked 14K, see photo). A fine modernist pendant designed as an 18K yellow gold frame enclosing a square plaque of smoky quartz with beveled edges. The front side of the gold frame has two geometric insets, a large square that occupies a fourth of the surface and a small quarter-circle at the opposite corner. This asymmetrical use of complimentary symmetrical shapes is reminiscent of the Mondrian paintings that inspired Yves Saint-Laurent’s 1965/66 couture collection...

A lovely Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold brooch in the form of an iris blossom superimposed over a sinous heart-shaped outline by Krementz. Very nice Victorian 18K yellow gold stick pin in the form of a coiled snake. The head is set with an old European cut sapphire. The engraved detailing is very nice. The snake motif in Victorian jewelry, often used to represent eternal love, became popular after Prince Albert gave Queen Victoria a snake ring as her betrothal gift. Hallmarked with the French "tete de cheval" and an unidentified maker's mark.

A delightful Retro 14K yellow and rose gold lucky four-leaf clover pin by Tiffany & Co. In the typical Retro style, the gold surfaces are large and mostly unadorned except for simple veining along the middle of the clover leaves. The back retains the original “fur clip” allowing the pin to be worn without actually piercing a garment’s fabric. The back is marked “14K Tiffany & Co.”.

This Antonio Pineda tie bar is a wonderful example of his quality, modernist artistry. It is concave with a central bezel-set, oval amethyst cabochon. It is marked "ANTONIO TAXCO" (in crown), "970" and co-stamped with Los Castillo Cooperativo marks: "LOS CASTILLO SOC COOP SCL" in a circle with "SEC 2" inside (this Coop mark is double-struck--see pictures) and eagle mark "58." The tie bar measures 1 1/8" x 5/8" x 1/4" and is in very good condition.

Rare and absolutely without equal when it comes to enamel work this sterling silver pin measures approx 1 7/8 inches, is hallmarked on the back, attributed to either David Andersen or Ivar Holt (can't totally read the maker's mark), pin in perfect working order. A pretty Victorian stick pin, the head in the form of an enameled pansy centering a 1-point old mine-cut diamond. The petals are detailed in shades of white, lavender and black. A lovely Victorian tortoise shell pique pendant in a heart shape. The puffed surface is worked with gold and silver inlay in an ornate floral pattern within a scalloped inlaid border. The pattern of two flowers joined together by a ribbon, and of course, the overall heart shape suggest that the pendant would have been given as a love token. The tortoise has very nice markings and translucency when held to the light.

Wide antique hinged bangle in genuine tortoise shell, with gold mountings and a gold slide clasp. Late 19th century. Not marked but the metal tests positive for 14KT gold with jeweler's acid.

1 1/4 inches wide by 1/4 inch thick and 6 inches inside circumference. Very good condition. Clasp is tight. There are two very small outside chips at the hinge and a scratch inside one side. These do not show when the piece is worn. Photos enlarged to show detail.

A very good Victorian brooch worked in pietra-dura. The design depicts a colorful purple iris blossom with foliage and buds against a black background. The pieces of stone are very well-cut and fit tightly into the design. The back retains the original brass pinstem and c-clasp.

This lovely necklace is 17" long. It consists of sterling silver links (each 7/8" long) that meet to display a decorative bordered Eilat stone (the national stone of Israel: "The King Solomon Stone"). The colorful stone (greens and blues), set in sterling, has a diameter of 3/4". The drop itself measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/8". The back is marked 925. This piece is in excellent condition. The necklace has a single chain and hook clasp.

This beautiful, sterling silver bracelet measures 7 1/2" long. Each link features a dark, multifaceted stone with iridescent colors. The stones are bezel set. The V-spring box clasp is marked on each piece: the V-spring has the Mexican Assay mark with a 2 inside the spread eagle. The box part is marked with words in a circle; but all I can make out is PLATA 925.
