A gorgeous pair of sterling clip back earrings with wire wrapped blue topaz stones by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. They measure 1 1/4" by 1 1/8"and weigh 18 grams total. The cabochon blue topaz is slightly darker than the camera captures and these stones are free of chips or cracks. Fine original condition and signed as shown. It has become almost impossible to find a pair of Fred Skaggs earrings with stones for sale. They seem to have all gone into the hands of collectors and not come out....

The chain measures 24" long and has a hook clasp. The central pendant is made from married silver, copper, and brass metals and has an inlay of some kind of green stone. It measures 4" long and 1 3/4" at the widest.
Marked Hecho en Mexico on the reverse which is brass. Has some surface scratches and shows a little wear. We did not polish it.
