This is fantastic piece of 40s figural jewelry. Each of the five links is set with hand painted figural Asia Princess face masks and accented with small faux pearls and a gold headband with tassel drops. Each face has red lips and white eyebrows and eye slits.

This bracelet is 7 3/8" long by 1 3/4" wide set in chunky silver tone. It is possible that this might also be Selro / Selini, too.

Rope designs were used exclusively in Spratling's 1st design period, 1931-46. This amethyst & 980 sterling pendant measures 2" X 1 3/4" X 1 3/8". The box is suspended by a heavy sterling Spratling chain measuring 24" long. Both box and chain are in beautiful condition. The circular clasp is tight and secure. Fully hallmarked WS 980 TAXCO. Intricately carved unusual natural coral ring consisting of rosebuds set in a 14 kt yellow gold stylized basket with 3 natural rubies on the handle. Completely handmade, this sterling silver pin is formed similar to a stylized sprig of lily-of-the-valley. It also bears an engraved inscription on the back that reads: “Anna F. Davies/The College Settlement of Philadelphia/1898-1941.” Davies was a founder of the settlement movement, and ran this settlement house during those years. The pin is also marked sterling and has a secure safety catch. It measures 3 1/8 inches long by about 1 inch wide. Weight: 19.5 grams

Amethyst sterling screwback earrings by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1947. They each have a cabochon amethyst which measures 3/4" in diameter. They are appropriately signed. A beautiful and rare Retro 14K yellow and white gold floral brooch featuring carved jadeite leaves and a carved rock crystal blossom. The rock crystal has an opalescent quality that appears much like moonstone. Both the front and back surfaces are finely engraved to suggest floral textures. The jade is brightly colored and contrasts nicely with the golden stems and leaves. The back is marked “14K”. Carved gemstone floral pins are quite uncommon.

A picture is worth a thousand words, they say, and in preparing to offer this fantastic find of mine, I am putting my trust in popular wisdom. When one has been dealing in vintage Mexican silver jewelry for as long a time as I have, one tends to hear that little "devil" in one's ear louder and louder, claiming that there is nothing new or exciting left to be encountered. Thankfully though, life and the old maestros of Taxco still keep some aces hidden up their sleeve...

A classic design that gives a tailored look to this 18Kt yellow gold men’s ring which is centered by an approximately 0.30 Ct brilliant cut diamond. The diamond is flanked by a round faceted natural blue sapphire on either side. The approximate total weight of the two sapphires is 0.60Ct. The ring is size 9 but it can easily be sized.

A beautifully executed pin that features a bezel-mounted oval dyed green chalcedony or chrysoprase, surrounded by a layer of leafy flowers and berries. This layer is composed of cast pieces individually applied to a serpentine wirework frame reminiscent of late arts and crafts design; dating would be 1930s or 1940s. The pin has a lovely patina from age and the stone retains its highly polished surface, exhibiting hardly any wear. The rollover clasp is very secure...

A wonderful vintage bracelet and matching pair of screw back earrings from Taxco by Victoria ~ Ana Maria Nunez de Brilanti in her 'Double Shadowbox Angel' design.

The bracelet measures 7 3/4" long by 1 1/8" wide. It closes by inserting a pin through interlocking cylinders. The bracelet is marked on the back Victoria, Taxco, Mexico, Sterling, and Style #53. This is the heavier and wider version of the bracelet.

Excellent, elegant circa 1940s necklace by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. Heavy for it's size, this solid liquid silver necklace is constructed of hollow silver bars over seven silver chains of variying lengths. This design is understated, and extremely rare. The shortest chain measures just under 15" in length. The necklace is authentic and bears Spratling's circa 1940s stamp. Excellent vintage condition.

This linked handmade silver bracelet features a series of hammered, oxidized panels with scalloped edges. The applied decoration consists of leaves and stylized vines in a pinwheel pattern, reminiscent of late arts and crafts design; the pinwheel motif is repeated on the four-lobed connecting links. A vintage 830 silver storyteller bracelet by David Andersen, Norway. Made up of alternating panels with what looks like a large lizard and a person on horseback yielding a sword and shield. There is some oxidation to the background for a contrasting effect.

Measures 7 1/4" long and just under an inch wide. Signed with the scales mark and 830S for the silver content on the back of the clasp.

A fine sterling silver hand made Arts and Crafts pierced cuff bracelet with a pink veined cabochon, possibly Raspberry Rhodonite. Measures 2" wide and 6" around with an opening of 1 1/2". Has a little bit of tarnish and minor surface scratches. Well crafted.

These cuff links exhibit both a sturdy look and construction. They were probably produced for the tourist trade by different silversmiths in the same workshop, as each is slightly different from the other, mostly in the fins. The backs of one linked pair indicates the maker M. Velazquez; all are marked Sterling/Made in Mexico in the pre-1950s style. The back rings connect to short bridge chains; one rings is slightly bent but there is no damage or metal stress. Each fish button measures 3/4 inch...

A massive silver ring by Antonio Belgiorno, Buenos Aires, c 1940-50. The geometric design and the use of oxidizing is typical of Belgiorno, who is one of Argentina’s most well known artists in silver. A solid piece of jewelry that really makes a statement. Marked A Belgiorno, Industria Argentina T27 and 900. Open and adjustable, the inner diameter at present 18 mm which corresponds to size 6 ½. Condition: fine.

This lovely moonstone, diamond and 14k yellow gold ring dates to about 1940 and is in excellent condition. The moonstone is a very nice deep cabochon measuring approximately 16mm long by 14mm wide. The ring is a size 6.75. The overall weight is 5.6 grams. The diamonds on the sides of the band are a very nice compliment to the center moonstone.
