The "Jewels by Antonio" hallmarks dates 1949-1953. This is a book-piece design shown on page 152 of Silver Seduction : The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda.

It's a fabulous ring with a huge presence. Size is 8.25. Height on top is just shy of 1/2". 1" wide.

Weight is a substantial 17.3 grams.

The background is deeply oxidized, with a raised decoration; there are a few small areas of loss to the oxidation on one side. A modernist pendant by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of sterling silver with a wire overlay reminds us of a stylized longhorn. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.

Here is a bold, mid-century modernist money clip. It's composed of a flexible but sturdy forged-wire frame, with an applied mounted piece of rosewood in a trapezoidal shape.
