This wide cuff Chinese bracelet has deeply repousse design composed of detailed symbols related to Miao Ethic Minority myths and legends. Such bracelets would have been worn in matched pairs, one on each wrist, by the women of the "short skirt" Miao of Dan Zhai, and the bracelets would have been handed down from mother to daughter for generations.

The cuff is almost 3 inches at the widest point in the front because of its large size and rolled edge it easily slips onto most wrists.

An extraordinary pair of French Art Nouveau 18K yellow gold enameled cufflinks, the faces featuring flowers bearing a secret message. In Victorian symbology, the daisy represented "innocence" or "purity", whereas the red poppy meant "pleasure". Taken together, the choice of flowers in these cufflinks was certainly intended to convey an erotic sentiment. Beautiful strand of Murano glass beads, of considerable length: "59 /150 cm. The beads are of various size, age and model - the yellow and marbled bead being the longest. The beads were probably put together in the 1960’s or 70’s. Condition: the long white pearl with a short crack, caused in fabrication.

A very fine lapis plaque (Afghan quality) with beautiful even violetish-blue color set in a 14K gold mounting. The stone is held in place by gold scrolls reminiscent of cresting waves. The same design follows down the side of the shank. Afghan lapis has no eye-visible white calcite spots, but may have some sparkly pyrite, and is the highest quality level. An extremely rare French 18K gold stick pin, the head set with reverse-carved Essex crystal depicting the historic first airplane crossing of the English Channel by Louis Bleriot in 1909. Transportation-themed Essex crystal jewelry is very rare, but those clearly linked to a specific vehicle or event are truly exceptional. Antonio Pineda pearl cuff is half an inch on one end and 1.25in. on the other. A swoosh reveals one simple pearl of 5mm set inside the darkened recess. This cuff is gleaming and reflects everything around it making it very difficult to photograph. There is no damage of any kind. To evaluate the size we show a 1in. gap and 6in. of silver. The diameter is 2.25in. across. This is elegant and perfect for the board room or for the little black dress. The weight is 69 grams and is heavy in your hand.

Joseff of Hollywood was better known as jeweler maker for the stars. This necklace is composed of five discs with raised bulldogs on each. The center disc has a larger dog. The brass discs are attached to a brass link chain. Joseff designed jewelry from the Deco era into the 1950's.

This neat Coro pendant measures 2 1/4" x 1 5/8" x 1/8". It features a cool, sterling, geometric design applied over a textured, hammered, ("dimpled"), shiny, blue background. The back is textured, sterling silver and signed Coro (in script) with the copyright symbol - raised and thick, c. 1960's. The pendant has good heft and is in excellent condition.

A beautiful 18K gold ring containing a miniature portrait of a pretty young girl wearing a bicorn hat. The painting is surrounded with authentic seed pearls.

The condition of the painting itself, and the ring, is excellent. The blue section showing in the photo of the underside is a bit of tape that was used to allow a snugger fit for the finger of a previous owner. The front of the ring measures 1 1/8" by 7/8". The ring is a size 7 1/2.

These fine cuff links have a diameter of 3/4". They display an abstract character: a J or a P? The backs are marked LEONORE DOSKOW HANDMADE STERLING. The toggle findings are also marked STERLING. The cuff links are in excellent condition, circa 1950s-1960s.
