This Los Castillo design 262 is an early one created when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. I believe these early pieces are the very best of her work. A cast rectangular top decorated with what look like applied and incised stylized scrollwork; the surface is textured and is unevenly oxidized. The sides exhibit clamp-like elements and the band shoulders bear engraved geometric designs. Absolutely stunning on with a length of 7 inches and a weight of a solid 68 grams. Hallmark correctly shown for Antonio Pineda. The presence is sleek at just under 1 inch. Each moonstone is framed with two caviar balls. The moonstones glow a beautiful blue and there is no damage or repairs.
