Very nice Victorian 18K yellow gold stick pin in the form of a coiled snake. The head is set with an old European cut sapphire. The engraved detailing is very nice. The snake motif in Victorian jewelry, often used to represent eternal love, became popular after Prince Albert gave Queen Victoria a snake ring as her betrothal gift. Hallmarked with the French "tete de cheval" and an unidentified maker's mark.

Being offered is a rare circa 1942 sterling silver and cabachon amethyst bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. Early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Circa mid-century, this bracelet is the work of Felipe Martinez / Piedra Y Plata. Martinez, who had worked with Hubert Harmon in the 1940's, opened his shop "Piedra Y Plata" in 1950. Before opening his shop Martinez had been an expert sculptor. Features six dense green stones and a superb modernist design, Martinez was known for selecting spectacular stones, and this bracelet does not disappoint. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 3/8", with a width of 11/16"...

Vintage, Very Danish Scandinavian looking silver bracelet stamped: DANECRAFT REG'D STERLING with mystery mark of Lion's Head facing a "C" or is there a Canadian connection? Maybe not a mystery; a Canadian mark? This is not the typical c in a circle copyright mark.
While fold over secure clasp is engaged it measures inside 6 3/4" X just under 1 1/4" wide and weighs 21 Grams.

A sterling silver modernist brooch with a bezel set onyx stone cabochon by Joaquin Tinta of Ecuador. Depicts a stylized bird or rooster with a gemstone eye.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 7/8" high. Marked Ecuador, Tinta and Sterling on the back. The sterling mark has been double stamped. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Has contrasting layers of polished and textured silver for an interesting effect.

Amazing shoulder sweeping clip earrings made from glittering purple glass faceted beads with an iridescent finish, probably Swarovski, and with brilliant matching large purple rhinestones at the tops, in dark coppery gunmetal japanned settings. Most likely Italian, circa 1965 or 1975, in the style of Coppola e Toppo. Possibly unsigned Coppola e Toppo, with their distinctive style of weaving glass beads with fine filament. The color is warmer than the photos show...

Spectacular large 9-kt yellow gold, oval shell cameo brooch, 19th century, probably English. Centered in a corded bezel frame is a finely carved depiction of Demeter with her lion and wheat sheaf. Shell is brown/pink, "C" clasp. Length: 2 1/4". Weight: 21 grams. Excellent condition.

A classic vintage Mikimoto brooch featuring pearls set in 14K yellow gold. The swirled design includes ten pearls of superb quality, estimated at AA quality. The surfaces are smooth, the luster is bright and the body color is cream with rose overtones. The pearls range in size from 5.5 to 7.7 millimeters. The gold “leaves” are pierced to provide a sense of lightness despite the pin’s relatively generous size...

This great bracelet is 7" long. It is a tourist bracelet c. 1970, before the United States Postal State abbreviations decreased from four to two letters. It spells out CAPE COD MASS and has a charm of a Cod Fish. It is in excellent condition. FREE US S/H.

This dainty pin was made by Hermann & Speck, well-known jewelers of Pforzheim in Germany in the years around the turn of the last century. It is centered by a blue sapphire, and it has a pearl dangle. It is marked 333 for 8kt gold, but when we tested it, it held for 10k (this is not unusual; however we had never seen a mark for 8kt gold before! Very unusual!)...
