These lovely Victorian earrings are composed of tortoise shell and 9k gold. The detail in the center hangs from the top to offer great movement. The tortoise shell is very light and easy to wear. These earrings measure approximately 7 cm tall and 5 cm wide. They are in excellent condition.
This stunning bracelet by the famous Antonio Pineda showcases his remarkable design skill and quality craftmanship. The round links are hinged at the top and bottom and each holds two uniquely cut deep toned Carnelian stones at the side. Measures 7 1/2" long by 7/8" wide and weighs 55.6 grams. Hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco Crown, Hecho en Mexico, 970 and the eagle 17. Gem set box clasp and attached safety chain. A rare and special bracelet by one of the Masters.
Ledesma is a noted Maestro in Penny Morrill's books. This is a rarely seen all silver Art Nouveau swirl weighing 61 grams heavy. It is properly hallmarked as shown and in 2 places. The repousse is without dents and is flowing in design. At it's widest it is 7/8th's of an inch and is 16.5in. long. The piece is jaw dropping on and you can turn the swirl inside or outside to wear. One pix shows it with the outside swirl. This one deserves our attention, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
Striking ethnographically-inspired kinetic modernist earrings by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. The top portion are classic Taxco, but the large dangling loops freely suspended add a fresh, modernist touch, along with the excitement of motion. Rare and beautiful vintage sterling and turquoise pendant necklace by Cochiti Pueblo silversmith Cippy Crazyhorse. To classic Pueblo designs, he adds his trademark style of deep stamping and chiseling. This heavy gauge silver pendant measures 2 1/4" diameter and is on silver beads measuring 29 1/2" end to end. The beads are not original to the pendant but fit very well. The total weight is 72 grams. There are no chips or cracks to the high quality turquoise stone that might be Kingman...
This playful pair of bracelets were designed and handwrought during Hubert Harmon's short time in Taxco, Mexico in the 1940's. Each bracelet measures 7" long and 3/4" wide. The pair weighs 32 grams. Each fish is finely detailed and measures 1 1/2" long. The amethyst cabs are bezel set but not backed allowing light to sparkle though as they move on the wrist. Beautiful condition. Clasps are tight and secure. Both bracelets are hallmarked Sterling, HUBERT HARMON, Made in Mexico.
An 18k birks bow brooch with diamonds from the 1950s. This retro brooch with three claw-set round brilliant cut genuine diamonds circa 1950s is well-made; it measures 2-1/8" x 1-1/4" pin is stamped 18 K and BIRKS. It has a safety catch, and it weighs 9.9 grams. The diamonds measure approximately 6 points in total - they are sparkling clear and white (VS, E-F colour)...
