These abstract earrings have an unconstructed, rough look of Brutalist design. They have pendants with curled, textured and oxidized surfaces that are finished on both sides and dangle from similar tops. They test definitively for sterling silver, and although they are not too heavy for the original ear clips, a good jeweler or metalsmith could convert them to posts to be on the safe side. Here is a lovely necklace of openwork panels, each with a center marcasite, and three prong-set carved carnelians. All are suspended by a white metal chain decorated with embossed links.
