Measures 11" around with an opening of 3". Meant to sit on the collar bone. Measures 1/2" wide in the center. Can probably be adjusted slightly. Better for a slender neck...
A pretty late Georgian example of a Halley’s Comet pin worked in 14K (perhaps 15K) yellow gold and featuring a light blue paste stone to represent the comet’s nucleus. The paste is set in an elegant buttercup-type setting accented with an engraved gallery. Blue paste is less common than other colors, and makes a very nice presentation. The comet’s tail depicted in the engraved and voluted gold setting.
In 1705, Edmond Halley correctly predicted the comet’s return in 1758...
Yellow enamel, sterling, and marcasites art deco lapel watch, Germany, c.1920's. Geometric design in three sections make up the structure of the watch. The horizontal bar pin at the top(m.1" across) pins on to fabric. The vertical middle section has 2 diamond shaped yellow enamel pieces set amidst an irregularly shaped geometric cut out design(m 2" long). The lower diamond-shaped section(m.1 1/2" long) is the "ORATOR" watch which has yellow enamel on the back...

A much understated tailored design is this estate diamond band from the 1970-s. The 14Kt yellow gold band is topped by five G color brilliant cut diamonds with the total weight of 0.26Ct. The diamonds are set individually in an S design channel. The weight and color of diamonds are clearly marked inside the band. The band is a size 6 ¾ and can easily be sized.
Modernist hand made 14k with 4 cultured pearls pin by Ellis Kauppi, founder of Kupitaan Kulta in 1945, Finland, c.1960's. Round pin measures 1 1/2" in diameter with 4 lustrous cultured pearls(4 3/4mm)at center. Trumpet lock securely closes pin which is in excellent condition. Pin is signed "anvil 585 FINLAND". Has two curved and flattened links and a central longer piece with a cultured pearl nested in the center. The links are connected by curved bars with orbs at each end.
Measures approximately 14 1/2" around. The necklace lays gently on the collarbone due to the curvature of the design. Hook closure allows for an extender to be attached if needed.

A vintage three dimensional pendant in sterling silver designed by Jose Luis Flores of Taxco, Mexico depicting a stylized figure kissing a nude breast. Flores also worked with Hector Aguilar, Miguel Garcia Martinez and Emma.
Measures 4 3/4" long including the large bale and 2 1/2" across. Marked on the back 925, Mexico JLF, and Taxco. Have also seen this with the additional Miguel hallmark in script. Heavy and substantial. Has some tarnish. Pre Eagle.

Very early sterling compact designed by HARALD NIELSEN(1892-1977) for GEORG JENSEN, Denmark, c.1920. Has decorative applied silver dolphin at top center. Empty on the inside so can be used as a pill box, it measures 2 1/2" in diameter by 1/2" thick. Beautifully signed "HN GEORG JENSEN(in dotted circle with crown) STERLING DENMARK GI925S(in dotted oval) 160A", it is in very good condition with a slight dent at top. An unusual and handsome 14K yellow gold tie bar designed as a Gothic-style strap hinge by Larter & Sons. When not being used to hold a tie in place, the piece could also be used as a money clip. The design is nicely detailed with beveled edges and raised bolts. The back is stamped with Larter's hallmark. Larter manufactured pieces such as this for leading jewelry retailers such as Tiffany and Cartier.
A striking necklace and matching screw back earrings with layers of copper and brass circles by Winifred Mason Chenet, who was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She reportedly worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler.
