A Birks 14k man's 3 diamonds row ring in yellow and white gold circa 1950s. The size is approximately size 14, or may be a little larger, as our ring mandrel (ring sizer bar) doesn't go any higher. This vintage gentleman's diamond band is stamped BIRKS (indistinct), it tests as 14k gold and it has an independent gemologist appraisal for $1000 CAD from 2008. The additional marks may have been lost a sizing, as sometimes happens...

This classic jewel consists of a circle of gold, enameled in cobalt blue, with gold highlights. A 3-looped bow is interlaced through it, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and dropper. There are a couple very minor flaws in the enamel - invisible without magnification. It is stamped for 15kt gold, and the gold has that lovely rich color we rarely see these days. There is a place on the back where it looks as though someone made a repair, but of course it’s not visible when worn...

A matching set of 10k yellow gold citrine (or citrene) screwback earrings and pendant on chain. This vintage set consists of three 5/8" across settings with claw-set faceted rectangular natural citrenes. The pendant is on a 16-1/2" fine link chain with a spring-ring clasp and it is also stamped 10KT (ECCO); the earrings are stamped 10K. This lovely set weighs 8.5 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This is one of our very favorite pieces: a striking Jugendstil (Germany and Austria’s Arts & Crafts) pendant which is enameled in white and purple. It is made from 900 silver (a bit less fine than sterling), and centered by a lovely oval amethyst which is flanked above and below by tiny seed pearls. There is a pearl dangle (which we added, as the original was missing) below an arc of milgrained metal. It measures 1-1/2” x 7/8” and weighs 4.7g...

A 15k rubies seed pearls shamrocks memento pin brooch from the 1875 era with green, yellow and rose gold. This splendid mid-Victorian 1-3/8" pin has an appealing hand etched floral design with genuine rubies and seed pearls as leaves and flowers. It also features a border with raised flowers alternating with raised and textured shamrocks which have leaves which are split with one side green gold and the other side of each leaf rose gold...

This striking lavalier is centered by a light purple amethyst (traditionally good for maintaining clarity of mind), framed by rose gold panels which are a mix of Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts in style. It has a pearl dangle with good luster, which is interestingly off-round. Measuring 1-5/8” including the pearl but not the jump ring, by 7/8”. The amethyst measures 3/8” x ¼”. It is marked “9ct” but tests as 10k (this is not unusual)...

A 14k red orange citrine and 16 diamonds ring from the 1970s. This vintage size 6-1/2 or 6.5 yellow gold ring features a deep orange red genuine citrene. It is 1 carat in size (calculated by gauge). It is surrounded by sixteen 2 point genuine diamonds in an oval-shaped alternate-halo setting. This ring weighs 3.7 grams. It measures 1/2" x 7/16" across the setting, it is stamped 14K with an A+A in a diamond maker's mark...

An Art Deco 14K diamond solitaire ring in 14k yellow and 18k white gold circa 1920s. This vintage size 6 ring measures 3/16" across the diamond, which is a 20 point round brilliant cut stone of VS-2 clarity and F colour, fair cut. This ring is stamped 14K-18K with a maker's mark, it weighs 2.6 grams. It had an independent gemological appraisal for $1000 (from August 2009). Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. This broach is an expertly carved 30 X 40 millimeter oval shell cameo set in a 14Kt yellow gold twisted edged frame. The broach has a fold down swivel which makes it wearable as a pendant as well.

This is the matching bracelet to the Enrique Ledesma sterling and azur-malachite necklace and earrings set that I am offering. Although I have priced and listed the earrings with the necklace, the earrings could be priced separately to go with the bracelet if so desired. A tiny enameled violet and a free-hanging baroque freshwater pearl enhance the dainty 10K gold pendant, complete with a curb link chain. Violets were used to represent the sentiments of love and faithfulness in the Victorian era. The pearl has nice luster that contrasts prettily with the colors of the enamel. The chain is marked 10K, and the pendant is tested 10K.
